Great soft serve ice cream. Wish there were more choices for soft serve, like strawberry. Our banana split was ok…. lots of whipped cream and coconut flakes – it also got forgotten about in the shuffle so took a while. All around not disappointed!

Wow—Viking Ice Cream completely blew me away! Every time I’ve gone, the staff (all super young!) get my order spot-on and somehow make it look effortless. What’s shocking is how much fun they’re clearly having—smiling, laughing, hustling—and the energy of the place is contagious. The flavors are endless, and I’ve made butter pecan my go-to when I’m here visiting from New York with family and friends. The outdoor tables are perfect for enjoying it, but let me warn you: the size of ice cream they stack on a cone is massive—you better eat fast before it topples! Absolutely awesome spot with parking and easy walk up.

Wonderful place. Get the small size of whatever you get…it will be enough. They pile up the ice cream here. If you get a tornado, it will be loaded up with cookies or candies or whatever you add to it. You will be full.

I, LOVE, ice cream. So when I heard about this small, little, hole in the wall, ice cream joint, I had to go see what all the rave was. HOLY proportion! They don’t skimp at all! Prepare to wait a few minutes, as this is the place to go, but they can make up items quickly! It’s worth the wait! Great service; and would definitely stop again.

Oh my gosh! So to begin with there will be a line. I believe there were 20-25 people waiting to order and just as many waiting to pick up their order. This will be worth the wait. Everyone is friendly so waiting is kinda fun.
The portions are ginormous. Ordered a banana split and chocolate shake. They don’t skimp on anything. The shake tasted…well chocolately. It was thick to boot. The banana split was epic. I will just post a photo. It is big enough for two people.
First time we drove by we saw the crowd waiting and decided not to stop. Second time we thought we would hang out and try it.

My cousin and I followed the line of customers to this wonderful ice cream shop near the pier in Ventura. The large tornadoes shown here are vanilla with Twix mix-ins and black raspberry with Kit-Kat mix-ins. The blend of the soft serve ice cream with the chunks of candy was a good blend to keep my taste buds activated. I saw many different customers all walk away with different treats and none of them seemed dissappointed. It is a nice stop when taking a ride around Clear Lake and I praise the staff for doing their best to keep up with high demands. Fantastic!!

Ice cream was fantastic and the servers were great. However, one of the workers (an older man who said he works for the owner) made a huge scene because we moved one of the picnic tables to a shaded area. We tried to explain that we moved it because it was in the sun and there were a ton of flies from all the ice cream drippings under the table, but he wasn’t having it. We apologized and told him we were going to move it back but he kept yelling at us, cursing at us, and making racial slurs and my father (who immigrated to the US from Argentina and then served 21.5 years in the USAF) while telling him that he didn’t want his service and that he should go back to his own country in Ethiopia…keep in mind this was all taking place while we were there with 6 kids all under 9.
To the owner: I highly suggest you remove the older gentleman from your establishment. His attitude towards us was completely uncalled for, disrespectful, and a disgrace to your business.
