This is a no-frills, regular burger-and-hot-dog joint with a classic neighborhood vibe. Portions are generous, the fries were crispy, and everything tasted fresh. It’s a straightforward spot that focuses on doing the basics right.
Some people mention it’s a little pricey, and while that may be true, so is just about every fast-food place in town these days. For the quality and portion size, it felt fair.
Solid, reliable spot and I’d definitely come back.

PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE. They are unhygenic, it was a white male about 5’6 built had an attitude the whole time , would not refund me after purposely tampering with my soup. I honestly hope this place get shut down. PLEASE DONT EVER EAT HERE.

Review: Burger Baron
As a long-time patron of Burger Baron, today’s experience left me questioning the standards of this establishment. Despite its continued cleanliness, recent visits have been less than satisfying.
Paying close to $17 for a Gyro-style plate, I was disappointed to find the meat served cold, as if it hadn’t been properly heated. It seemed that the staff, more concerned with closing duties, overlooked the quality of the meal and customer satisfaction.
Simple requests, like extra salad dressing, were neglected amidst the rush to close up shop. The value for money was severely lacking, considering the portion size and temperature of the food.
Due to the changes in the quality of what was once a great place to have a good meal, I no longer recommend Burger Baron. It’s clear that improvements are needed.

This place robbed me of my money. I accidently placed a Uber Eats order and cancelled withing 90 seconds of the placement. I saw the order was the wrong address and Uber Eats sent me a notifications saying “issue with the restaurant” so I cancelled immediately. I was charged $42.00 even thought I cancelled within in 90 seconds. I have the receipts for this with the time stamp. UberEats said the restaurant would not refund me because they clicked “yes” on the order. Nothing was made or started. They just simply robbed me of my money.

The food came so fast I don’t believe it was fresh. The tomatoes looked spoiled they were mush, the cheese on the burger disappeared as if they didn’t put it on the bun. They put no condiments inside the bag! Fast service but no condiments not doing them again!! Michelle likes mustard and ketchup!

Burger Baron on West Grand Avenue is a classic Chicago spot that never disappoints. I swung by last week and grabbed their 1/2 lb. Baron Cheeseburger for $10.55—cooked just right with all the fixings. The fries were crispy and hit the spot. Service was quick and friendly, making it a great place for a casual bite!

I’ve been to burger baron a few times and it’s always very clean inside and the workers are nice. Their menu is quite large so there is plenty to choose from! The fries have been delicious without being drenched in oil, and my girlfriend loved the Italian beef sandwich.
