Went with a group of about 15 friends. Jordan, our server, was excellent. Took care of everything and pleasant the entire time.

Let me start by saying that The Twist, which used to be Grapes and Hops, has been a go to for us for at least 10 years. It’s our favorite place in town. HOWEVER. Recently they’ve changed the menu and where the food used to be really, really good (at one point they had a Spanish chef making custom cheese plates) the new, reduced menu, in a word, sucks. Not only that, the preparation has gone noticeably down hill. The wine list, which used to be excellent (GRAPES and Hops) has gone significantly downhill as well. It’s a shame. Feels like they’re cheaping out. We’ll still go, mainly for the music because we won’t be going for the food and wine anymore.

This restaurant occupies the space where Grapes and Hops used to be. We ate outside but from what I could see of the inside the decor isn’t changed that much. The menu is vastly different: much more streamlined, for both food and drinks. Ever item on the menu sounded delicious and we were very impressed with what we ordered. Like many places on Main Street they are super dog friendly, with water bowls available.

Not impressed about this place, service was really bad plus they got bothered by me asking if they would have a tip jar for the musicians they have at the front of the restaurant, bar, I don’t know what to call it, I ask the manager if they as waiters don’t like to get tips so I had a dirty look and only then give me a water jar I could bring to the musicians that we’re very grateful when my friend and I put some money on it. I am very disappointed with the place, The place is ok it’s just the people working in it who are the problem

This place was such a great experience. The food was very delicious. I recommend trying the flatbread Chinese pizza. It was super yummy, and it’s enough to share. Also the bar staff was super friendly. We happen to go on a night where they booked a band called ( The Brobots). These guys were so energetic, and we couldn’t stop dancing to them, and everybody had LED lights in their hands! I hope to come back again when they’re playing. The energy in the crowd was phenomenal.

The name may have changed, but the drinks, food, service, and quality remain the same, as good as ever. As always, there’s a nice selection of wine, beer, and signature cocktails. The permanent outdoor seating is set up nicely, and live music inside, along with a dance floor, make this a popular spot on weekends.

Love the vibe, we only go when Davey Miller is playing Jazz, and it is always an exceptionally fun time & the Jazz is always exceptional! LOVE Davey’s vocals & the rotating cast of players he brings in are always stellar! Mushroom flatbread & the crab stack are food faves! Cocktails are generous & delish as well.
