The Tea Kettle is our go to place for breakfast. Staff is always friendly and attentive and the food is professionally prepared, nice presentation, good size portions and, more often than not, I take home leftovers. I’m not a pancake person but, if you are, they offer a plethora of options and always a lot of creative specials in addition to the regular menu which is extensive.

First of all, any diner that offers dairy free milk for coffee instantly has a good first impression for me. They also left the coffee carafe on the table so we could refill at our own pace which was so helpful. Service was fast and the eclectic decor made for a pleasant and relaxing breakfast. Hubby got the breakfast burrito which was better than average (potatoes on the side were sub par). I got the paleo eggs Benedict (picture) which was phenomenal, especially the sweet potatoes. The eggs were cooked perfectly. Haven’t ever seen a dairy free hollandaise before Tea Kettle!

We stayed right across the street and I’m so glad we stopped at the Tea Kettle! The staff is super friendly. We appreciated Julia taking the time to chat with us. I wanted the pancakes based on other reviews and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT! My husband had the Papa Smurf and I had the Strawberry Cheesecake. They were so delicious we didn’t even need syrup. All the pancakes are topped with their homemade whipped cream. A great experience!

AMAZING FOOD! It was so great, we went back for a second go round before heading back to NYC. The pancakes are huge and made to perfection. As a pancake officianado, I was worried the taste would be compromised by the size of the pancake, but it wasn’t. The Philly Cheese Steak Omelet was impressively flavorful to say the least. The syrup rocks, the potatoes melted in my mouth and the service was impeccable. Lee and the other young women working there treated us so very well.

A unique gem. What makes this so very special is Lee. When my husband and I visit we always ask to be seated at her table. She makes this entire experience.

It’s a gamble for the price. The first time my family came here we were very pleased with the food, I got a pancake and an eggs Benedict, my partner enjoyed the chicken fried steak. We took half the pancake home it was so big. We were excited to come back, but this time I was quite shocked when my plate arrived. I ordered their nacho Benedict with waffle fries. I was very confused when I cut into my poached eggs because it was so over cooked it was practically hard boiled. I order eggs Benedict everywhere I go and I have for my whole life, it’s my favorite food, and I have never had a poached egg be that over cooked, not one other time. I also did not taste any hollandaise sauce anywhere. I was pretty upset because I’m pregnant and I was really hungry, but for the first time in my life I decided to ask for a remake. The waitress was very understanding. I got the regular eggs Benedict the second time, and it was fine, they actually gave me a whole ramekin of hollandaise sauce to make sure I got enough, but I am just not blown away. My partner even commented that the hollandaise was very thin and it was not flavorful, and the home fries were good texture wise but not very flavorful either, I don’t believe they were salted. I am disappointed because we had such a good meal the first time we came. Unfortunately I just think that their menu is too expensive to take a gamble on. I will say my partner enjoyed his chicken breakfast sandwich.

The Tea Kettle has amazing food and a friendly staff. But be prepared to wait for almost a hour for your food, the kitchen takes forever! My fiancé and I ordered two burritos and it took them 45 minutes to serve our burritos.

We are here first time on May 30, 2023. Tiffany was our waitress. Everything was wonderful. She had 4 tables inside she was serving and took great care of us outside. That’s why we returned the very next day.

We order takeout from The Tea Kettle almost every weekend as a little treat! Out of the maybe ten times we’ve ordered from here, we’ve only had issues once, and Doordash promptly refunded us for the missing items. The food is always excellent and is almost always too much for one meal! We usually eat half Saturday morning and the other half Sunday morning!
