First off I love being greeted when I arrived. Gina was amazing! I’ve been in Tucson since 1996. This is the best carne asada I’ve had in Tucson! I had the carne asada walking nacho, the birria blazing balls and the street tacos. I cannot say enough about the food here this is amazing! I would highly recommend this to others and will be returning here for my Mexican food from now on. Can’t wait to try everything else they have.

So disappointed and such a waste of money, spent over 30$ for tacos with a slice of cheese. Food had zero flavor got salsas that were not full at all. Horchata had zero flavor. Never again.

I ordered a little bit of everything. Im going to start with the street taco combination plate. I give that plate a 5/10. The tacos were really small and not a lot of meat, but the meat was flavorful. The rice and beans were also a small portion and didnt have a lot of flavor as well. I think it should have a little more food on the plate for $14.50. I also ordered the birria tacos and consomme and that an 8/10. It was the best thing I ordered. I also ordered 2 vampiros with all pastor. It was good, but it was nothing special about it. I would give it a 6/10. The service was ok. Not bad not good. They said they ran out of green and red salsa for the night, so I only had 5 salsas for a $98 order. I ordered at 7 and they close at 9. I think the portions are small for the price and the flavor wasn’t amazing. Not a bad taco spot, but I will not return.

Great little hole in the wall for a quick taco pit stop. We ordered the two taco and fries combo. The fries were hot and fried perfectly. The tacos were stuffed and the meat was actually seasoned. The plate appears “small” but Americans are just used to ridiculously large portions sizes. Everything was cooked well, the limes and veggies were fresh, and most importantly the bathroom was clean and orderly. I would highly recommend stopping in and trying this place out.

Found this place through tiktok and crossed my fingers that it would be worth it AND IT WAS SO GOOD! I am very picky about my Mexican restaurants because it has to taste like home.
I ordered the Birria taco plate with consume and a drink and it was delicious. The tacos were full, crisp and mouthwatering. The consume was fresh, flavorful and so good I could drink it on its own. I will definitely be back after such wonderful food and friendly service!

We came and it wasn’t too busy, but it should be! They offer a Taco Tuesday deal which is awesome. we were able to get our mini taco flight! Red sauce is super spicy but good! The green salsa is BOMB! The Birria Ramen bowl is delicious but has a good heat kick to it! Pretty clean and a good place to chill!

This was our first time here at The Taco Spot. We loved it. My wife and I got the Asada Tacos and I also had some Birria Tacos with consomé, absolutely perfect. Highly recommend this taco spot in Tucson!
