I really like this place. Food is great. Most similar with southern NM food. Salsas are actual bleneded chile and not tomato and onion relish. Beans are refried and delicious. Rice is good ol southern nm rice. I prefer the Asada tacos here to tap-n-taco. However they dont have the bar and lively atmosphere. This is more of a quiet family restaurant. Also has a drive up window to take the food with you. The person I was with loved the chile rellenos. Said they were the best she’s had in ABQ area.

I came in yesterday and from the start the customer service is terrible, which by the other reviews is the same young girl. The food is overpriced. I ordered 3 asada tacos, pozole, a torta, and an horchata. The tacos were probably the most decent, the pozole tasted super weird and gross, and the torta was just gross it had super small amounts of asada and tons of avocado and tomato. You can’t buy a regular drink because they only have Aguas or bottled drinks that are way over priced and a sign that says “sorry no refills” on the aguas. I didn’t enjoy anything about my experience. I will never go back nor recommend to anyone. I rarely see people there and when I went it was empty and now I know why. These restaurants are becoming greedy, if you can’t put a decent amount of meat on my torta or even my tacos you don’t need my business.

Our first time here, with another couple. I loved the atmosphere when walking in. Plenty of seating was available. The young lady at the counter was very patient in explaining the different menu items. After ordering, the food came out in the expected amount of time. Portions were sizeable, and I felt like we definitely got our money’s worth. (Be aware, the pics on the menu board do not exactly represent what you may get. For example, the amount of shrimp we got was less than what was shown.) Speaking of which, definitely get their bacon wrapped shrimp! WOW!

4 salsas for 12 tacos is ridiculous, no option online to order limes.. limes should be sent with the food. And since when are the tortillas fried as it makes more greasy than it needs to be. Other than that gotta love the place !

Not impressed with the food, it was ehhhh’, just okay. The beans and rice were cold too which sucked! I also paid extra for tomatoes and lettuce to be added to the two gorditas and really now, ummm both were miniscule….Where’s the tomatoes, where’s the lettuce…lol! The fountain Coca-Cola was also flat!

Cook was nice enough to substitute bacon wrapped shrimp for regular shrimp after we were declined by the girls taking the order, I can appreciate when a business accommodates all religions and cultures we don’t eat pork so there was really no other option for us so I’m glad he was able to make it work and we are so pleased thank you for being a kind human being, I had the quesabirria and an horchata and it was delicious I’ll post the pics of both our plates. LOVE this place I’ve never had any issues dine in, take out, or drive through. Servers are always sweet and willing to explain dishes. We’ve pretty much have ordered all the tacos which are delicious and a good price. Their salsa bar is always stocked and has a good variety for additions to your dishes. House made drinks always 10 out 0f 10! We’ve gotten a few of the plates and the rice, beans, are always yummy. Highly recommend.

I usually order 3 burritos @3.50 a piece and usually comes to 12 bucks and some change, but there is one specific cashier(the younger female) who is absolutely overcharging every time, I brought it up to the cashier that rings up the proper total, she said the owner will not correct the issue so just a heads up from my mistake. MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR AN ITEMIZED RECEIPT BECAUSE THIS HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES THAT IM CHARGED 20 BUCKS FOR 3 SMALL BEAN BURRITOS THAT COST 3.50 EACH. Needless to say I will not be going back
