A pretty good place to eat. I had the BBQ chicken plate with the sweet beans , mac & cheese and greens. The sweet tea didn’t taste so great. The second place I had been to in the area where the sweet tea tasted like the ice wasn’t filtered or the tea dispenser wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. I guess people in these small towns like the moldy tea taste ♂️

The woman at the drive thru window had a dry attitude like no personality at all. The chicken potato was plain the chicken brisket and the stew was PLAIN no taste at all the meat tastes like unseasoned meat. The white sauce was basically vinegar. In other words it was nasty and landed in the garbage. $40 wasted! Won’t be going back ever again!!

The staff is always friendly and always has been, especially the young lady who normally works the drive thru window. The food is great and the prices are decent. Come early during lunch if you want fast service because they are always super busy. I’m really glad that even though their business has grown over the years, they have kept this location. We had Southern Style BBQ cater our wedding, and OH MY GOODNESS! Everyone who ate told us how good it was, and I couldn’t agree more. Bobby was super easy to work with, and he went out of his way to make sure our meal was everything we wanted. We can’t thank them enough for the amazing service and DELICIOUS memories!

Had there special of smoked wings, very delicious! Usually I get there lunch bag, pork sandwich, chips, cookie and drink all for a very reasonable price. Great smoke flavor. I highly recommend this place. Have heard that their ribs are great but have not tried them for myself yet.

You can tell by the line of cars at lunchtime that the food is great. If you are hungry and happen to be near, you will have to stop and order. Fast and friendly. I had a brisket sandwich, and it was delicious. There is also a ham sandwich that is not on the menu. Smoked hot dogs, pulled pork, brisket, slaw, potato salad and chips. Great food at a great price.

So honestly the only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one is because the potato salad and the sweet tea were good. The chicken was extremely dry and the ribs were dry. Both fell off the bone but neither had any flavor. The coleslaw was not even edible. The baked beans were just out of a can nothing special. I was very disappointed.
