The Sunrise Shack was never just about coffee, it was, and always will be about making the most of life, and we find the best way to do that is by making the most out of each day. The shack was technically born in 2016 on a small plumeria farm in the heart of Oahu’s north shore, but the seed was planted in the hearts of the founders long before then. Alex, Travis, and Koa Smith, along with their good friend Koa Rothman are all surfers raised by the Hawaiian Islands, and they feel that their upbringing has inspired the Sunrise Shack to be what it is today. Hawaii Nei has taught us to value our health, happiness, and community.

I love this place! It is pricey (what isn’t in Hawaii) but totally worth it. The smoothie bowls are out of this world. This was also the first time I tried bullet coffee and I really enjoyed it.

Truly delicious acai bowls and the cutest little setup off the side of the highway. This location has a slightly more limited menu than the one down towards shark’s cove, since they are able to produce everything that they sell on-property (super cool in my opinion). The guy working was amazing and elevated the experience even further for us!!

We were recommended by family to come try this place out. We ordered the vegan vibes sandwich and the acai bowl. The açaí bowl was spectacular it tasted way different than what I had in the past! Super delicious light healthy and yummy! The vegan vibe sandwich was also truly delicious. The avocado and lemony sauce was delightful! Definitely recommend when in Oahu Hawaii!!

My big “pro” for this place is the atmosphere. The bright yellow shack, the colorful tables and decor, the lovely view of North Shore, the adjacent PIG FARM, and the convenient location by Sunset Beach. All of these are wonderful aspects of this business.

I got a half and half bowl. I was between two (blue hawaiian!?) and they suggested to have both in one bowl. Got to chose which bowls toppings to add. Some chickens and chicks joined me when I was eating in their patio area. No parking, street and walk over.

Stayed on the North Shore and had to visit Sunrise Shack. The location was great—right across the street from Sunrise beach and there was plenty of street parking. It was not busy during our visit. The staff was super polite. We ordered the Açaí Bowl and a few wellness and immunity shots. The shots were super strong (aka GOOD) and the bowls were okay. I was not a huge fan of the açaí blend itself- was more on the thicker side, and the taste wasn’t the greatest, but their toppings were very fresh and tasty.

Such a beautiful and colorful place. The açaí was delicious. However, their prices are a bit steep. Once in a while is great but not spending $20 every morning for a bowl and coffee. Staff was friendly and explained the bullet butter coffee very well. They had chickens roaming around! A lot of mosquitoes too but nothing too bad. I highly recommend coming to visit, awesome vibes!

Amazing staff and refreshing fruit bowls! The staff here are so friendly and kind. They even suggested that I mix my bowls and it was good! I had the açaí and tropical fruit bowl with tropical toppings. Definitely visiting again
