So I definitely would not order anything other than the sea food here. I hope that it is way better than the rest of the menu.
The ribs were dry, the baked potato was burnt, the broccoli was old, the chopped sirloin was not good and the French onion soup tasted scorched.
The water, Pepsi and the salad was good.
Provided the meals that we ordered were good then the price was decent, $30 each.

If you’re in the mood for some great crabs and beer, there’s nowhere like stables. Westminster is lucky to have a few nice restaurants and stables competes with the very best of them. Huge amazing crab cakes, even the new servers are well trained. I’ve been there at least a hundred times and have never had a bad experience.

It’s been a while since we were here. The restaurant was not too crowded on a Thursday evening.
The food was good – we got a full rack of ribs and single crab cake dinner. The sides were broccoli, fries, and macaroni and cheese. The macaroni and cheese and fries were very good. The broccoli was boiled. The ribs were pretty good, a little dry in certain areas, but on the whole good. The crab cake is large as always. It’s as if someone with very large hands scoops through the crab meat and just does a massive handful. It’s definitely worth the money. Most establishments would charge for two crab cakes as they’re very large.
The atmosphere is really nice and they’ve done some renovations since the last time we were there. The bar was quite busy with a diverse crowd. We set adjacent and by the time we left the bar was pretty crowded.
The service was a bit of an issue. It took a while for our server to take our order, a soda refill request was forgotten, and it took about 20 minutes to get the check. Granted, by that time our entire section of 6 tables had been seated; however, in watching the server, other tables were definitely taking priority over ours. The rest of the restaurant was pretty empty.
On the whole, a good experience and we will definitely go again.

This place is out in Westminister MD in Carroll County and I went there for an all you can eat crab and shrimp feast. I never would have thought this place had decent seafood as Ive only been there for drinks and some local bands but definitely worth trying out.

Decided to get a bite to eat and watch the race from their bar. Their draft beer selection was impeccable. They had a lot of draft to select from. Willing to give you a sample. I ordered. I do believe pretzel sticks for an appetizer. They came out nice, hot and crunchy and worth worth every penny and every one of them. I had the item I posted which was suggested by the bartender. It was very tender, very flavorful and worth every bit of the money. The bartenders are very talkative, personable and very chatty which made me sitting at the bar by myself. Feel like I was one of the staff. Highly recommend that you take this unique gem and go give it a try!

It’s so bad. They were half full and the parking lot somehow made them look packed. Our waitress was a bartender who let us know she got stuck waiting on us before she could go home – I’m guessing they were short staffed because she’s clearly not used to waiting tables but she made a go of it. The place was freezing, we never took off our coats, and I’m a living hot flash these days. Our French Onion Soups arrived before our drinks, the cheese was good quality but it was underdone & I had to cut it w a knife. The Salmon was fresh, the mashed potatoes were fake & tasteless, and the green bean casserole (veg of day) & the gravy were *cold*. The Ribs & Shrimp were hot and good portion sizes, but not good enough to repeat.
Overall, we spent over $100 for mediocre/cold food for 2 people and I barely ate half of mine. Also, expect little privacy in the bathroom stalls, that door (middle stall) pops open at will & leaves you on view even if closed. It took us 3 yrs to give them a shot, they’re exactly what we thought they are. One and done.

This Is a place that sells 2 star meals at 5 star prices. Food quality and taste is very disappointing. Side dishes served in a ramekin dish, baked potato comes with togo butter and squeeze pouch of sour cream, food poorly put together with no flavor. This is basically bar food at prices you would expect to pay at a 5 star restaurant. The wait staff apparently has no training at all. Honeslty I’d rather get fast food. We will never go back again.

I went yesterday with my family, there were 10 of us. I had made a reservation the day before & they had things already set up when we arrived. We ordered a couple appetizers for the table: crab pretzels, mozzarella sticks, bacon wrapped shrimp and everything was delicious! There were plenty of selections on the menu for everyone to get what they wanted for dinner. The food came out hot & tasty.
We already plan on coming back for lunch or dinner. There were many appetizers we’d like to try as well as other items on the menu.
I must add, the leftovers this morning were wonderful 🙂

We stumbled upon this place leaving a nearby competition headed back towards Annapolis. We walked into the carry out section first without knowing there was a cover band and restaurant downstairs. The guys upstairs were sooooo nice and managed to get us a table for 6. We had some amazing, hot, and fresh food including the crabs. Everyone here was so friendly and nice. We felt very comfortable and welcomed.
