We returned to Spiceroom again recently and, as always, the food and service were absolutely fantastic. There is such a consistently high standard here; the team is incredibly friendly and they have a way of making you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you walk through the door.
The only downside to our evening was the temperature. It was uncomfortably ‘fresh’ inside the restaurant, to the point where it was a bit difficult to fully relax and enjoy the meal. We noticed the staff had thoughtfully placed small heaters around the room to help, which we really appreciated, but unfortunately, they weren’t quite enough to beat the chill.
We love this spot and will definitely be back for that wonderful hospitality—we’ll just be sure to bring an extra jumper next time! Hopefully, the heating gets a little boost soon so the atmosphere is as warm as the lovely staff.”

We had a wonderful experience at The Spice Room. The service was amazing — very welcoming, attentive, and professional throughout. The restaurant was spotless, and the team kept checking on us to make sure everything was perfect, which really showed their high standards from start to finish.
Even though we didn’t manage to finish the main meal for two, it was absolutely incredible — the portion sizes are very generous and everything was delicious.

I got a takeaway from here and I think it’s great that it’s one of the few places that deliver. Food was hot and had reasonable flavour but I was really disappointed that everything had big chunks of onion in (Sag Paneer and Murgh Hara Bonoful).
The lamb in the curry (lamb chilli fry which came in loads of sauce and wasn’t dry as described) was also dry and tough. It was reasonable food but I probably wouldn’t order again from here again sadly.

we ordered a takeaway it was ready 15 minutes after ordering online. Very friendly staff and once back home the food was amazing. Poppadoms, onion bahjis salad and tandoori 1/4 chicken to share as starters.

After long time we had really tasty indian food outside of London. Most of the Authentic food is being served here and service was really fantastic. It was really busy day but they served the food within a few minutes after we ordered. Great seating area inside with over 50 covers.

Arrived in the area today and spotted this place down a side street. Liked the look of the menu so booked once they opened. Arrived at the small frontage to be led through to the back. It’s like entering the TARDIS! There a tables around every corner but still plenty of space. But the food…OMG! The spice Room is right! I had an Indian Hot Pot and it was very hot for my taste. Not so hot that there was no flavour as it tasted great Service was excellent and meal was lovely Staff friendly and efficient and food, plates, bowls etc really hot too! Thank you for a great evening
