I loved our experience at the Spice Palette. They were getting ready to close but served us a wonderful dinner, quickly but perfectly. Another diner was celebrating a birthday, but the staff must have heard me tell her it was my birthday too, and they came out with a piece of ice cream cake for me, I was very surprised. Our food was the best Indian food I’ve had in the area, and we’ve tried all the local places. We hadn’t planned on visiting tonight and it was impromptu, but so glad we stopped for a late dinner. We will definitely be back.

We have a wonderful friends, Raj Dai and Bhauju, Rupesh ji and Ruby baini we found this restaurant during Google search, waiters are so friendly and professional, food was A+, very nice and pleasant environment! Superb. I’ve had a lot of Indian food across the US and the food, service, and atmosphere of this place is beyond anything I’ve had. I had the tamarind eggplant and the tandoori palette. The eggplant appetizer felt like a full meal and the flavor was outstanding for a meager $7. Very generous portions, and beautifully presented. I’m in danger, this place is an easy walk from my work and now that I know how amazing this is I may be coming in often. If you love Indian food, just go. There’s no way to be disappointed.

The fact that they had the quintessential English Chicken Phaal on the menu gave me hope that the meal might be different than the usual innocuous and limp Curry houses that I have experienced so far in the USA.

Hands down the best Indian cuisine in the State of Connecticut. While I have my favorites like Murgh Vindaloo, Hot & Sour soup, and vegetable samosas, I love trying new things here and have never been disappointed. I recently tried their new lunch special, “Thali”, and I was once again so impressed. Thali is a great choice for those who want to sample many different dishes and flavor profiles, and is great for beginners and/or those who are intimidated by spice level as these samplings don’t pack heat like some of their other dishes.

The food is delicious!! I had the Meen Moilee Salmon and I’m obsessed! The service is excellent, timely and thoughtful. The portions were huge and I definitely had leftovers. I really love the decorations and the table set. I’m definitely adding this to my local restaurant rotation.
