This food was very, very, very good! I had the 2 meat and 2 sides. Ribs and Jerk chicken w/green beans and Mac and cheese! He had the pulled chicken sandwich and a side of Mac and cheese too! My mom and I went to lunch today at The Southern Kitchen and boy, we are already planning a second trip! The restaurant was very clean and spacious, while still being warm and inviting. Our food was all served hot and fresh! Extremely delicious! And the cornbread is truly delightful! Please be sure to give this place your business!! Awesome if you haven’t tried it, TRY IT. Elkins is a small town and this makes coming here even more special there is nothing around here that has this much potential and pleasure for your taste buds and the Desserts are phonominal. The meals are not like any restaurant here in town or even other towns in the area, I will definitely be a repeating customer and will enjoy every flavor that this menu has to offer shout out to the Kitchen and to the main boss ladies who make you feel at home no matter where you’re from!!

This is the best restaurant in Elkins. The food is pure comfort and so delicious. Kiki is charming and obviously a fine cook! We will be back. In fact, after eating all our food we got more to go even though the portions were very large.

Incredible jerk chicken, so tender and fall-of-the bone. Collards were tender as well, but not mushy. Mac and cheese was solid! Really enjoyed this meal. Very friendly service. Will return.

Didnt appreciate the following: plastic ware, styrofoamplates, all food served in styrofoam containers, having to shout out your order to counter, ribs were tender only 3 bones in my order (not even a half of rack) pulled chicken was chicken with baby Ray’s BBQ sauce (tasted like it), only 2 legs came with jerk chicken order, never received corn on the cob with order and when it finally arrived, it was frozen in the middle, no artificial sweeteners and i could continue but will stop. If I’m going to spend 160.00 for a dinner with family, it should not be an indoor picnic with small portions. Never return and will not give recommendation.
