We didn’t eat but we did enjoy Devan at the bar with her Clearwater Beach history lesson and her West Coast vibe. We had to try the “Floating Duck” as its world renowned and also the “Sea Margarita” that while not as famous probably should be.
This is a pool hall/dive bar/beach bar so if you are looking for fancy, probably not your vibe, but if you want to feel like you are at your friends house, this is the place!

A fantastic dive bar with real character. Jeff, the bartender, is an absolute blast. Visited here over 5 years ago and was so happy to see he was still there. He is entertaining, and always on his game. The whole place has a kitschy (in a great way) atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great drinks, great energy, and a bartender who truly makes the dive bar experience unique.

The Shipwreck is a great place to hang out. The atmosphere is always fun, the drinks are always good, and the staff is friendly. Jeff behind the bar is awesome! He’s super personable, quick with drinks even when it’s busy, and keeps a really good vibe going. He’s definitely one of the reasons I like stopping in there!

If you can’t handle sarcasm, don’t bother. If you have thickish skin, this place rocks. The bartenders are great if you match their energy. They even have a sign stating such. Come here, have fun, don’t expect to be treated like a king/queen. Best dive bar in Clearwater. Price is right.

Best dive on the north end of the strip.. been coming here 27 years, you wanna go where the locals go when the sun goes down and the moon goes up ? stop in. Cocktails are good like grandma makes in the shed , beers are cold , good folks here. Cheers!

Shit place, can’t get too drunk, can’t have more then a couple drinks and they kick you out telling you that you had too much to drink. Dive bar honesty for Clearwater beach I was expecting way better. Waste of time if you’re thinking about stopping. Never have been kicked out of a bar until now. Honestly would never go again, bartender Jeff and who ever he worked with on the night of March 5th was so rude. Never have felt so disrespected from a bartender until now. Such a waste of time of a bar for stopping by on the way home. So hopefully this helps!

Oldest bar in Clearwater never disappoints! We just stopped in for a quick drink before heading to our destination. Jeff the bartender was still there and just as sassy as before. He’s great! Drinks are awesome! Must try the pink shot! Yum!

The bar had a really cozy feel. Nothing over the top, just good vibes and a comfortable space to hang out. Drinks were solid, staff was friendly, and it didn’t feel too crowded or loud. One of those spots that’s just easy to enjoy. Definitely a good place to unwind.

The Shipwreck is a total dive bar, but they have some good specialty drinks! Bring your ID – even if you’re not drinking, those under 21 are not welcome. The bar & bathrooms are fairly clean. They have pool, a golf tee game, & claw machine if you’re in the playing mood!
