The chicken meal is amazing! I get the double and make 3 meals out of it for the work week. Such an easy meal prep. I also love the mac salad!!

I hear reviewing is bad for you but I thought I’d say a few words regardless. Had their short rib, Korean beef plate with Mac salad. The short ribs were tender and delicious. The Korean beef was this cut and juicy. The Mac salad was peppery and fresh. Would recommend.

Was not impressed, really disappointed in the food. Meat was tough, discolored and tasted old. Rice was mushy and mac salad had no flavor. Do not recommend.

Edit: They no longer sell the Shoyu Ahi, I’m sure the grilled cheeses and other Hawaiian menu items are fine, but not for me.

Best raw ahi for the price in Salem (I think it’s right around 6-8 oz. per scoop), and it comes with a lot of rice. Their other food is good too, but, it’s all about the ahi for me. Great service, at both locations, and the atmosphere fits the food, very Hawaiian, or very, Shaka. The pic attached is of a double scoop of Shoyu Ahi.

Lmfao, trash business. Trash food. I heard they were great in Corvallis but every single location they’ve opened since then is so low quality I wouldn’t feed it to a dog. This place deserves to go out of business.

I was kinda bummed out. I ordered two plates one chicken teriyaki& the other was short rib & also Portuguese sausage. Waited longer then was told, had 5 people come in after me and left way before me and I was on a lunch break had to wait again cus I was given spam instead of sausage . And idk ‍♀️ but that kinda looks like beef teriyaki not short rib . Aside from that…food was delicious. Customer service was good. Cashier offered me drinks for the wait.

Forked out $15 for a grilled cheese, expecting pure bliss.
Hoped for magic, got basic—man, what a miss!
Just bread and cheese, no wow, no thrill.
Save your cash, this sandwich ain’t worth the bill.

Okay, one of my new favorite places to go. Great food, and so much of it, for only $14!!! Some of the other choices cost a little bit more, but still totally worth it! There’s no place to sit, but it’s totally fine. Thank you for being so generous with the portions! I was with a small group, and we actually left Roth’s to get food here, because it was less expensive and we got so much more.

A friend recommended this place saying it was really good, and it was EXCELLENT!!
The Chicken and Pork were juicy and moist, and the Macaroni Salad was great.
My only advice is order less than what you think you’ll need, unless you want leftovers, because the portions are huge, but for the price it’s a great deal.
We will be back.

Shoyu Poke not supposed to be green, Hawaiian. Cashier said “oh, it’s probably from the green onions” smh. Green onion no leak color. If you’re advertising poke, make sure not spoiled.

Musubi was buckshot. Wish I knew BEFORE I bought 8 and took it to the park.

Also, cashier was on her phone when I walked in and didn’t bother acknowledging me.
