This place is absolutely amazing!! We had a party of 14 (college students on vacation mind you) and they were able to get us in so fast. We called around noon on a Friday and asked if it was possible to get a reservation for the same day and they said if we came around 5:45 that would be fine! The weather was perfect and we sat outside on their porch. Our server, Jessie, was so kind and so helpful. We all loved our food and the owner (I believe it was the owner or maybe a manager) checked on us multiple times to see how we were doing. He was very nice as well! Plus, the shirts they sell are awesome!! 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone in the Mathews/Onemo area. Loved everything about it!!

Friendly service, but the shrimp were definitely frozen/pre-breaded…. I ordered the panko shrimp basket to go, what i got was 8 shrimp that looked/tasted like what they sell in the freezer section of walmart. Those weird flat seapak shrimp…. I expected hand breaded, fresh, large shrimp….

I’ve had some things here when it was a good trk and loved it all. Wife and I went to the restaurant 1st time few wks ago and was a bit disappointed with dinner. Both of us had a different shrimp dish and both were pre-made fried shrimp. I did not expect that at all. Hush-puppys the fries and crab dip are awesome love it, but disappointed in the meal. I do know you get fresh if you order steam shrimp but not if you order coconut shrimp or just fried shrimp. Atleast not that night.

Love this place! Great for the seafood market but also have dined here several times. Only place in the county to get steamed crabs served at the restaurant or to go. Our favorites are the steamed shrimp, coconut fried shrimp, sashimi tuna, and she crab soup. The soup is fantastic and loaded with crab, and the tuna cooked to perfection. Took my friends grandkids for some crab picking last summer and the crabs were steamed perfectly as well. Oh, and the BEST hushpuppies I’ve ever had! The only thing I would want to see is a sauteed soft crab option, (besides fried), and then my world would be complete 🙂
