Sandwich Odyssey is a classic and such a slept on spot. Great menu of soups and sandwiches; all delicious and one of the best bang for your buck spots in my opinion! Great spot with reasonable prices for the amount of food you get and it just tastes amazing. Love that they’re easy to dine-in and take to-go when you order and that they’re so easy to access in town!

One of the best French dips I’ve had in a while. Quality bread like a mini French bread loaf. Beef was super tender and full of flavor, and the au jus was excellent. I wish there was an option for a bigger sandwich but I’ll definitely be back.

I got a sandwich here a few months ago, and while it was absolutely delicious I ended up finding a hair threaded in the avocado. Not the kind that grows on your head but elsewhere. I was a little mortified and called to tell them. I wasn’t looking for a replacement sandwich as I had eaten a majority of the original sando, just to tell them that they need to keep up with safety standards. I talked to a very kind man on the phone who apologized and told me to come in for a replacement sandwich any time for free. I ended up taking the offer called to place an order the following week. A woman picked up, I explained the situation and she immediately told me that no such offer would ever be made, that I should have taken a photo, insinuated I was lying and was extremely short, aggressive and rude during the entire interaction. As someone who works in food service, I get that it’s annoying when people are looking for freebies. I truly wasn’t, but my bad for not taking a picture of someone’s body hair in my sandwich. Can’t lie though, their sandwiches are bomb

Ordered the special chicken bacon ranch on a hoagie with clam chowder ($3 upgrade). I realized I got the wrong order and had to go back. The clam chowder was delicious. The sandwich on the other hand was not worth the price ($16.95). I got 3 pieces of sliced, chewy chicken and 2 strips of bacon, 3 slices of tomato and a ton of lettuce. Half the sandwich was just lettuce. I ended up eating a quarter and going to get tacos.
