I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Salted Lime inside Ameristar St. Charles, and it was an experience worth savoring. The standout items for me were the street tacos and the chips and salsa.

I had the weirdest tasting Paloma here while being choked out by some lady’s perfume in the super close spinning chairs at the bar. My taco was good though! Love the thin crispy chips and delicious salsa.

I enjoyed my visit here.. The staff was really nice and helpful.. The drinks were good! The food was just ok.. Not that it was bad, but it wasn’t very exciting (lacked flavor) and for the price it should have been.. However, you get a lot of food and you will have leftovers..

Forgot to take pictures of how amazing the food was! Reasonably priced food wise, the drinks are a little more but delicisouly worth it. Our server Amy was super friendly, fast, and I swear can read your mind if you needed anything. Huge fan, will be back to try more. The nachos could easily be a meal on its own. I ordered the shrimp tacos and was very satisfied.

The prickly pear margarita is very tasty! Salsa was delicious and the chips have the perfect salty crisp. I got the chicken chimichanga and it also did not disappoint. Very good, I will definitely be back.

Food was good and the service was prompt. Right up to getting the bill. The waitress gave our bill to another table and gave us theirs. She said to go ahead and pay it as it was cheaper. I looked. Our total bill for 5 of us was $82.00. We got stuck with a $130.00 bill!! I’m no math genius, but that was almost $50.00 HIGHER than what our bill would have been.
IF I ever go back, I WILL scrutinize my bill carefully. Very carefully.

Ordered the beef barria chimichanga, ground beef taco, margarita, and chips and salsa. Chimi was excellent , very filling, taco beef a bit bland, chips,salsa and margarita good. Very reasonable price. Definitely will return.

Great service. Always exceptional. The salsa is a bit heavy on the smoked chipotle in adobo sauce flavor, so if that’s not your thing you may not like it. Also, if you order tacos, they put them in one of those metal holders. They only use one tortilla, so if you order corn, it can get very moist and the taco falls apart. This has happened to me twice. Nice flavors and substantial portions. The carnitas and fajitas are always very good. Can’t speak on the rest of the menu.
