For food, it’s a bar. It’s pizzas in a little pizza oven and a few little snacks. It’s great for what it is.

Service is always great, the atmosphere is always what you’d expect. It’s a great little bar. Definitely my favorite in the area. The only complaint I have is the fact that it’s not open every night of the week.

Jeff (the owner) did an excellent job on the drinks and customer service! He was working the bar and did not have a bad attitude or anything. Great time celebrating my niece’s graduation. Every shot he made was perfection. Definitely recommend!

I stopped to have a beer, it was Saturday night, the place was busy… The service was poor. I felt like I was bothering the server when I asked fory beer.

It was pointed out to me afterwards, Safari is generally a younger crowd.

This looks like a local hangout. Probably not good unless your a local

Bathroom was clean…

Dropped in on a Saturday night. Best bar we ended up at. Pizza was good, great bar tender, and people of all ages.

Good atmosphere, good service, and the Bloody Mary’s are excellent. Jeff keeps the establishment clean, and the riff-raff out. Jeff takes care of his sponsored teams(dart league, softball league, pool league, golf leagues, etc). I would and have recommended The Safari to anybody who asks.

This is where local people often go for a brew. Crowd on a Fri/Sat can at times be sketchy to be honest. But when covid ends you bet I will drop in. Staff is great.

Fun place. Towney but cool bar. They do great special events… Dress light as it’s always hot.

This is a bar for all ages. Formerly Ed’s Safari, it’s new and improved. Great deck area out back.

Stagecoach, Fifth Quarter, Safari, The Office, these are the bars that the local population inhabits when they’re not at the Alley or Deepwater. Frankly, there’s a sameness to them all, though some offer food. But they’re loud, clean….enough, typical Midwestern small town bars. If you’re traveling through the area and want to see what Ashland is really like, spend some time in them. Otherwise, move on.
