I don’t normally write reviews, but that was the best breakfast I have ever had. My husband and I were about to leave when we heard that the wait was 45 minutes, but we decided to stay after all. Thank God we did! I had the Me’nage a Trike, which is the banana bread french toast with a side of eggs and a meat of your choice. Incredible bacon, perfectly fried eggs, and the most phenomenal French toast. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito with hash browns, both of which were crispy and cooked to perfection. He didn’t even need his usual hot sauce, it was that good as-is! On top of everything the staff was kind, fast, and welcoming. Cannot recommend this place enough.

This hole in the wall is worth your time and money! Take the time to sit at the counter and enjoy the free entertainment from the proprietor! He is the best! Staff was warm and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. Try the banana bread french toast!! Oh, they also offer the best cup of coffee !

This is my 3rd visit to The Rusty Bike and it’s a must do always on my list when I visit my parents in Clayton. It definitely has the home town feel don’t be off put by the biker memorabilia it adds to the character. The service is always amazing. Get there early or be prepared to wait. Today I got the unicycle but sampled everyone else’s food as well. We also ordered the country fried steak and an order of French toast. The biscuits are soft and their house made jam is unmatched. The French toast has the right amount of sweetness.

Solid breakfast and lunch stop in. I have never tried sweet potato tots and these were the main dish for me. I ordered a tuna salad and it was very flavorful with capers I. It. The spicy ranch dressing gave the salad a zesty taste. Hubby ordered breakfast and the grits and pancakes were fantastic. Always a good sign. I was disappointed because we had heard about their amazing desserts and they did not have any. Other than that, a decent local place with sizable portions. Very filling.

This place was great! It was recommended to me by two different people. We stopped in for a quick bite. We waited about 15 minutes or so for a table. I ride a motorcycle so I loved the decorations. I got the Randy Burger which was a mix of ground beef and bacon. It was delicious. The bacon flavor was subtle. I had to take a bite of just the patty to fully appreciate the flavor. The toppings that came on it set it off. The onion rings were maybe the best I’ve ever had. The breading was light and crispy. I’ll drag some more people to this place in the future!

We were quickly seated, followed by someone taking our order. It was only a few minutes before our breakfast arrived. Our waitress stopped by several times asking if my wife wanted some more coffee. By the time we left, it looked pretty much full.

Stopped here for breakfast since our hotel didn’t serve any breakfast. Waited about 15 minutes, on a Sunday morning, that was not bad at all. My daughter and I sat at the bar, I had the western omelette and she had chocolate chip pancakes. I did order a slice of the banana bread French toast because I HAD to try it. It was delicious! Food was excellent, service was excellent and a nice atmosphere. Will go back next time I’m in the area and try the carrot cake. I’ve been told it’s spectacular.

This was our first time trying The Rusty Bike and we will be back! Possibly tomorrow. Lol
I got the gear shifter: smoked sausage, bacon, two eggs, hash browns, and a pancake.
My husband got the shovel head: sausage, eggs, peppers, onions, and cheese in a fresh tortilla shell with a side of hash browns.

This place was a mad-house on a Sunday morning!! Not in a bad way exactly but it was so packed there was next to no place to comfortably wait. When we left people were just hanging around outside.
The staff was kind and the spaces were clean. I had standard breakfast fare and it was good. But there was a mix up with my hubby’s order and he ended up with an omelette that clearly started out being fried eggs. He said they were still goid, but it was shoddy kitchen work not starting his omelette over properly. I was also halfway finished before being able to flag down our server for the juice I ordered to be served with the meal.
There are too many other decent kitchens serving breakfast in Clayton to sit through waiting times for a breakfast that’s not quite right. Fine, but not great.
I also do Not recommend going with a large party as the dining floor is small and not setup for large parties. The waits for couples was significantly less than the wait for our party of seven. Our party ended up being split up and sat apart from each other. I wasn’t happy but the entire party, myself included was hungry.
Everybody left full and perfectly happy but it wasn’t a great experience. The locals love this spot ( so I was told by a regular) and it was decent enough food that I would go back to give them another chance to impress me if someone else wanted to go there. Hopefully they’ll get the orders right next time and I can leave a better review
I will pass on one tip given to me which is, if you have the opportunity sit at the bar and meet the owner behind it. Apparently he is a good guy with a big heart and a funny personality who loves what he does. Next time we’ll try to get a bar seat.

First time here. Was a busy place even on a Friday morning. The wait wasn’t too long and the food was delicious. Everything cooked as requested and seasoned well. I recommend the French toast with cream cheese and blueberry compote. So good!
