This was the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had in my life. Between the quality of food, the people who work there, ans the eating area, it was amazing. Every morning you get greeted by the sweetest woman named Hagel who wishes you a great breakfast. The guys working the line are always in a good mood and making jokes with us. The waffle machine is amazing! They have so many food options! Oats, hard-boiled eggs, fruit, grits, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes (so good), waffles and all the drink options you would need. I will definitely stay at this hotel when I come back just for the breakfast. Love you guys!!!

If you are staying at the Dayton House in Myrtle Beach, you really should visit here for your free breakfast. It is within walking distance of every Dayton House building. It can be very busy, but the line moves along pretty quick. The tables can be hard to get also, but you have the option of getting your food to go. Also there is outside dining tables. This is buffet style and you just tell them what you want. Everything we tried for our 6 day trip was good. Food was hot, and I had 0 complaints. Staff was super friendly.

We were totally happy about the buffet breakfast included in our stay at Dayton House Resort. Maybe we just need to be earlier then 9 a.m. because the only meat available was pork sausage, and hubby doesn’t eat pork. Will update tomorrow and let you know if there is something for those that don’t eat pork! Otherwise, the lady that checks off your room for the buffet was so funny and pleasant to talk with! She definitely made me laugh!

Thanks to the gentleman who kept the lines moving, especially at the waffle station, which he helped make. He is a very gracious host. The buffet is good but is missing bacon, toast or biscuits. The only breads and starches were a small muffin and the DIY waffles, which I love but wished they had more toppings besides the syrup. No butter either. The scrambled eggs were cafeteria quality. Sausage links were good, cooked perfectly. The fresh fruit and canned pineapple chunks was very refreshing. Coffee was so-so. Considering the buffet was complimentary with our room at the Dayton house, it was okay and convenient. Tip: get there before 8am!

We’re new to the Dayton House Hotel/ The Rose Room at Dayton House and could not be happier with our experience. The room was quiet and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was so worth the stay. Staff was very kind and helpful in both settings. We will definitely return. High 5’s to you guys.

We stayed at the Dayton House and went to the Rose Room across the street for the free breakfast. The breakfast attendants we’re all very friendly. Everything was clean, the food was pretty good and there was plenty for everyone. There was mention of long lines after 8:30am, but we did not see them. The line moved fast if there was one. They even went out of their way to get me some bacon before they put it out for everyone.

Complained to the manager ( I think,was a young black lady, she called a younger girl over) about the Waffle machine not working properly. The timer wasn’t working. Anyways when she came to check it there was multiple other guest standing there & they said that they had reported it for the past 2 days & it still wasn’t working properly. That’s when she unplugged it numerous times and then said it works the timer doesn’t, so you need to learn how to time it so it gets cooked & doesn’t burn, obviously you don’t know how to use one.The manager & younger girl both said it.There were 7 people in line waiting to use the other ones that worked & they told her to leave it unplugged if it didn’t work properly.
