I got 1 twin burger basket, 1 bbq salad, two diet cokes and it cost $36.00 and the food wasn’t that good. I could’ve had a good steak at Applebee’s for less than that! Sadly I won’t be back! Their food isn’t that good for the price you have to pay! A thumbs down for me!

If you want an old fashioned, juicy, messy, delicious cheeseburger, The Rocket is the place to go. I’ve been eating at The Rocket for over forty years. Sometimes nothing else will do but a good ole Rocket cheeseburger or barbecue sandwich. The Rocket sauce is the secret ingredient.

30 minute detour off our main drive home from Gwinnett County, Georgia was worth it. BBQ, fries, corn nuggets were all delicious, as well as the bottomless tea. We could not finish our meals; the servings were very plentiful. Owners, Patsy and Gary(?) were great hosts, too. All of the young ladies at the counter were very pleasant and friendly, which makes the visit even better. Service was excellent.

As always the food and service is amazing. The small dining room with cramped tables seems more designed for Oompa Loompas than grown adults. But for the BBQ, sacrifices are made.

Normally everything is very good from The Rocket so I would assume the smoked chicken was just as good but I was very wrong. I ordered the smoke chicken salad and another family member ordered the smoked chicken plate, neither of us could eat our meal. The smoked chicken was terrible! Between the lack of smoked flavor the texture was so unappetizing. It was very much like the prepackaged frozen smoked chicken you can buy from any grocery store. If it’s not one of their top seller I would highly suggest removing it from the menu. The rest of the food which was burgers, bbq, and fries was great as expected!

The fingers was cooked in old oil. We waited 17 mins after we paid 9 people got their order that order after me. We was over charged for extra tea and the older lady cashier said ok. And why no trash can in dining room. People was putting nasty trays on counter beside fresh food that was set up and the lady in back wasn’t wearing gloves nor wash hands after touching the nasty trays. The 2 younger ladies up front didn’t give me 1 of my meals n the lady told me did I look or do I need help. The lady in kitchen came to look at my table like we was trying to get something for free. This was one of the worse places I ever been out of 9 states I traveled

Hamburgers are the best in the area, but the skinny blonde running the register 8-5-23, was as rude as they come! Rolling her eyes acting like she didn’t want to take your order or give condiments when you ask, unlike the other young ladies working. The music is so loud you have to holler to place your order, and can’t hear each other talk.

First time here since moving here recently. Had the “meat plate”, pulled pork that was slathered in a mild, overly sweet sauce, with another pile of sauce poured all over it. A mixture of burnt pieces of meat, some shredded bone and just soggy other parts. Almost broke a tooth on bone, 1 fork full was an almost 2” piece of pure fat, albeit smothered in the above mentioned sauce. My GF had a salad with pulled pork, and stopped eating after s couple bites. Potato salad was bland. Baked beans were again slathered with the same sauce that killed the meat, and had more of the meat mixed with it.

Food is usually good but gets orders mixed up frequently. When asked to correct their mistake they make it inconvenient I believe in hopes of not having to refund money or lose product having to replace it.
