We tried Social Peruvian on Magazine Street for the first time after hearing so many great things, and it absolutely lived up to the hype.
The atmosphere was warm and lively without being overwhelming — perfect for a date night. From the moment we sat down, the service made us feel welcome and taken care of.
A big shoutout to our server Lesly, who truly made the experience even better with her recommendations and friendly energy. She guided us through the menu and helped us pick some amazing dishes. And kudos to the very hospitable manager, Sergio, who kept stopping by our table to make sure everything was perfect and that we had everything we needed. That level of attention really stood out.
We started with the ceviche (El Carretillero), which was incredibly fresh and full of flavor, and then had the lomo saltado, which was absolutely delicious — tender, savory, and cooked just right. We finished with the rice pudding dessert, which was creamy, comforting, and the perfect sweet ending.
You can tell why this place gets so much love — great food, great service, and a beautiful vibe. My wife and I had an amazing date night and we’re definitely coming back to try more dishes.
Highly recommended if you’re on Magazine Street and looking for something special.

Incredible place! I love Peruvian food, and this was definitely amazing. The drinks recommended by Eduardo were delicious. I highly recommend the Social Ceviche and the salmon sashimi. We had a reservation for 8 PM on a Saturday. We were running a bit behind but were able to choose inside vs. outside when we arrived after waiting a few minutes for our table to clear. The atmosphere is chic and cozy, not too overdone. Drinks were both excellent and we enjoyed all of our dishes. We got the guacamole to start, salmon sashimi, arroz con mariscos (no octopus), and pasta al pesto (chicken). Our server Axel was very helpful as we decided what to get. He was kind and attentive. Will definitely go back.

Got here a bit early in the evening. Place got packed, the music was jamming and Sergio was throwing out the recommendations with a fantastic level of expertise. Great service.This place is 10 out of 10. Every dish that was suggested was absolutely amazing. Great date night spot, great for sharing plates and definitely a place to try something you haven’t tried before. Drinks top notch. No hesitation we will come back for more.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this Peruvian restaurant. The food was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious I ordered the lomo saltado, and my husband had the ceviche — BOTH dishes were full of flavor and perfectly prepared. We also tried a juice called NIQI, and it was refreshing and very tasty. It paired perfectly with our meal.
Beyond the food, the service truly stood out. Alex took great care of us — he was attentive, friendly, and took the time to introduce us to Peruvian cuisine, which made the experience even more special.

We LOVED Social. We’ve been to this location with it being a couple of different restaurants and this by far exceeded every other experience. The food, service, and atmosphere were wonderful. We had the best server: Lesly. She made great recommendations and was very attentive. Don’t sleep on the octopus or Social Ceviche. We’ll be back!
