This adorable place is not your typical “up north” shop which is why I loved it. Gluten free options, fun and sassy gifts, and an entertainment area for kids all in one spot. Kind of reminded me of a hipster vibe which I found refreshing and different for up here. I loved the fact that they had GF items but I’ll say that the food isn’t what would bring me back. It was ok, but I’d go back for the atmosphere.

This is a wonderful restaurant/ coffee shop! The atmosphere is comfortable and fun and welcoming. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The reason we stopped was their high ranking with gluten free options – and they didn’t disappoint. The menu is clearly marked and the staff is extremely knowledgeable about every menu item, its ingredients and how it’s prepared.

Ok, listen to me. I won’t say about a great coffee that they serve (and I know what I’m talking about!) in great mugs (no plastic cups, yessiree!) with great(est!) avocado toast and fresh fruits.
Consider the other aspect. Being the only coffee shop around in the middle of nowhere they could have worked half hard and be double priced – and still be profitable and happy. They don’t behave like that, I say, being responsible and honest. This should be noted and appreciated. Kudos!

This was our first time here. I ordered the Avacado BLT on marble rye with a Smores specialty coffee. My partner ordered a Turkey cranberry sandwich and a Strawberry Lemonade smoothie. You get a choice of fruit or chips with the sandwiches.
The food was quick and very good. The sandwich was big and you got a lot of chips. There was exactly enough avocado on the BLT for all the flavors to blend well. The coffee was a little bit sweet but still good!

Great place to stop, especially if you have kids, as they have a playset and some toys. My reuben panini was good, but not extraordinary. It was 1 part beef to three parts sauerkraut.

The place is very clean. The wall art was excellent. There is plenty of space to eat both inside and out. The food was delicious! Very satisfying menu will be back to try other dishes! The pricing was also perfect! Thanks for doing a great job can’t wait to be back. Will likely make routine stops here when we go back to McGregor! They also have some boutique items. Wife picked up a set of hoop earrings.

1st time here even though I’ve driven past on numerous occasions. I had the turkey cranberry panini with a strawberry lemonade smoothie and they were both very good! Stopped on a very hot and humid day. It wasn’t cold in the building but it was better than outside. There was a lot of moisture inside so it was hard to see inside the cold case. The art on the wall for the 4th of July was done very well! I’m glad I stopped and I look forward to coming back again to try another sandwich.

Come for the food, maybe don’t ever come back because of the service!
We absolutely love the food at the Roasting House. Best caramel rolls around, but constantly having to deal with their horrible service is almost enough to keep us from going back. We’ve had multiple trips where we’re told their all out of something, then the people in line behind us order the same thing and they tell them it’ll just be a couple more minutes before their ready.
It happened again today!
Poor service isn’t limited to holidays or weekends when there’s a rush. This happens mid week too.
I am huge on supporting small, local businesses, but I believe a business has to do something to keep you wanting to go back. Not make you fear the experience you’ll have to endure to give them my money.
I hope this gets fixed.
