Super tasty and worth every penny!
We wanted to check this place out because of the good reviews. The good reviews were spot on!
Everything on the buffet tasted like it was homemade. Very tasty barbecue where the meat falls off the bone. The Salisbury steak was amazing and so were the vegetables. I only tried one dessert and it was like grandma used to make. Maybe even better!
Reasonably priced for a buffet. Very friendly staff and the patrons were friendly as well. Clean restrooms and dining area.
This place is well worth making time in your trip to check out!

The food is spectacular! We stopped by for the Sunday buffet after reading the other reviews. I tasted nearly every item and was astounded by the flavor, freshness and value! The ribs were fall-off-the-bone delicious, the fried chicken was mouth-watering amazing, the farm fresh veggies were perfectly seasoned, the desert was better than Grandma’s and the homemade Mac and Cheese was creamy perfection. The place is full of locals who all know this is the best tasting deal for miles. If you are traveling between Jackson and Meridian, MS on I-20 on Friday or Sunday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., then this is a detour you must take. Be sure to taste the Fried Chicken (that was my favorite!).

If you want a great steak…look no further!! This little place has some of the best food around and the deserts are amazing! Try the orange cake! I get the ribeye sandwich. It’s $12 and melts in your mouth! Flavorful is the word! Don’t miss it!!

This being my first time in Mississippi, I didn’t know what to expect, but to my taste buds’ delight, my meal at The Ribcage was absolutely delicious, and now seriously challenges Texas and Missouri in my quest for America’s best barbecue. To boot, the staff was very friendly and I felt the warmth of the locals eating there.

Our 1st time trying this restaurant. I had the Filet with Baked Potato and salad bar. My daughters had boiled Shrimp which all were delicious and priced very reasonable! Nice and friendly waitress. Rolls were divine! On the down side hubby’s Catfish lacked and son in law smoked chicken was a little dry. But over all my dinner was DELICIOUS. AND service was excellent! Fried Pickles were a 10! Hot potato salad and baked beans all a winner. Hubby’s fries were soggy.

This has been my go to restaurant for a while now. I typically get the fried catfish plate. It’s always been plenty to eat. I’ve even bragged to friends that love catfish to go there bc you get a good portion for a decent price. However, the last 3 times I’ve eaten the fried catfish, it looks like a kids portion or about half of what I was getting. My wife even asked if I got the kids fish, but I didn’t. I hate I told people to get their fish from there for the good deal, but now it’s really not.

I’ve been going to the rib cage for a long time tonight I ordered 2 grilled chicken plates to go. When I got home and opened them there was maybe a half a chicken breast in each plate. That’s absolutely ridiculous. 30 dollars for chicken and that’s all that comes in the plate.

Visiting from out of town. Both the wife and I had the ribs. They were excellent. The service was excellent, (my tea glass was never empty). Very reasonably priced. The yeast rolls were to die for. We’ll be back next time we’re in town.

Great place to eat!! Steak was pretty great!! Cooked just right!! If you luck up and go on a day they have macaroni it is a must!!! The best Mac n cheese I’ve ever had!!! The service is beyond awesome!!
