Whatever you do don’t sleep on this place. I’m here to tell you. You can close your eyes, point at the menu and say I want that and you will be impressed. The Calamari is awesome and the wings are to die for. I’ll let you in on a little secret try the buffalo bbq sauce mixed together on your wings. Absolutely amazing hell the whole entire menu is amazing. Keep up the good work Porterhouse you guys rock

What a great experience to have dinner at this place. Our waitress was absolutely fantastic. She was attentive, friendly, and overall great. I had fish and fries, and hubs had the fish n fries but upgraded to the salmon. That was a special treat and tasted awesome. The sour beer they had on tap was so delicious. We will be back next time we are up this way.

The PH was our go-to place before covid. Now that they have re-opened we had a little visit. We were not disappointed. With new furniture, a fresh menu, and everything fixed up, everything looked great. They have a good selection of brews and ciders for your drinking pleasure.

Love it here! Super friendly staff, awesome food and great local beer selection. 21+, comfy seating area and great rotating food specials. Perfect for a weekday happy hour or a nice weekend night out. Highly recommend the bacon Brie burger and caesar salad with salmon! Oh and the Beef Stroganoff it’s so good

Excellent Nitro Stout, with a wide selection of craft beers. Food was pretty good, although I was a little disappointed in the rib tips, not much meat and the ends were solid bone. The grilled salmon salad and sweet potato fries were excellent. Nice surroundings and friendly service I would definitely recommend

There were 4 of us. We were there a little after 6. It was not very crowded. Our drinks came quickly . We were waited on by a young very humorous man. 2 of us ordered the carne asada tacos. They were excellent and had 2 dipping sauces. The third person ordered the steak salad. She said the steak, which was a large piece, was excellent, tender and flavorful. I don’t remember the 4th dinner item. The restaurant was full when we left. Two of us will be n the area at the end of the month and we plan on eating there again.

Found this gem after a long hike! Many pubs were closed in Mount Vernon around 8:15 when we finally got into town, but that didn’t stop the awesome people at Porterhouse from providing amazing service, great food, and a lovely space for us to decompress after arduous uphill climbs! Don’t miss the Brie and garlic burger!!
