We went after a concert at the Lincoln theater. The staff was amazing attentive, the draft selection was great with a large variety, and the food was delicious. That being said we felt the portion sizes other then the salad were a little on the small size for the price. We had the Carne Asada Fries and the Crispy Spicy Chicken Sandwich. We will definitely be going back to try some of the other menu items.

This place was incredibly good. We came in on a weeknight (Thursday) after the dinner rush and the ambience was quiet and relaxed but not empty.

-Pretzels and beer cheese for starts
-spicy chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries, and a burger with regular fries as the entrees.

Comparitively we preferred the sweet potato fries to the regular, so paying the extra was worth it. We did find the entire meal a bit on the pricey side for pub fair- especially bc we didn’t have any alcohol, but the food was really good and we both inhaled it.

Well.. the ONE thing I absolutely loved about this place is they have Real salt in their shakers.

I ordered carne asada fries but wanted the meat subbed out with adobada, cause it was on the special menu that day. She asked and said yeah we can buy it’s $2 more. Okay.. whyy? Cause there’s more meat. My total for my water and fries was $23.98..

Received the food and portion size was just to hand fulls of steak fries, then the cheese sauce was bland, there was not extra meat it was a sprinkle and I know beef is more expensive than pork.. smh I had to use that salt shaker multiple times to pallet it. The salsa verde was good tho.

She passed by and asked how it was and I told her it was over priced for what it was. Her rebuttal was “everything is made from scratch”. I asked “even the fries??” Heh

She did give me multiple lemons for my water, which I really appreciated.

I got a box to bring it home.. but on the walk to the car I asked myself why I’m even bringing it home.. I would of had to force myself to eat it.. can’t waste food, ya know.. Luckily, I passed a homeless man.

I’m a proud Fish-n-Chips snob, and I must say theirs are really fantastic, down to the details. Crispy and not greasy. Same with the fries. Their tartar has a great flavor and is seasoned in a fairly unique way. Even the slaw is tasty. The beer selection is great as well, so I’m honestly ready to come back for dinner after eating there for lunch. Thank you! Generally speaking, this place has a great vibe too and friendly service, so I’ll be back soon to try more of the menu.

Went here for the first time at 4:00 pm on a weekday. Ordered a garlic brie burger and calamari. The place was almost empty. I requested no onions on my burger but it came with them. No biggie, I picked them off. When my wife opened her calamari she was immediately disappointed. It was tiny pieces like the bottom of a bag of frozen product. The prices were far above the prices listed on their web site. Though it was clearly happy hour I was charged full price for a draft cider I had while we awaited our take out order. This was clearly not the way to impress first time customers.

Last time we went there last week, our burger patties were burnt to a crisp and the cheese sauce for the pretzels was broken and tasted horrible. We won’t be going back. Would not recommend.

The following was from my previous review.

The PH was our go-to place before covid. Now that they have re-opened we had a little visit. We were not disappointed. With new furniture, a fresh menu, and everything fixed up, everything looked great. They have a good selection of brews and ciders for your drinking pleasure.

As for the food, they always nailed their fish so I chose their brie and garlic burger. I’d prefer more garlic because I love it but what they served was still great and a good balance for the “normal” customer. (That’s right, I’m far from normal!!)

I’m glad this little spot is back open and has the quality I expect. Oh, just a little note, they no longer have the dart board and games but they replaced it with super comfy seats and additional tables!

Great pub vibes with exceptional customer service. Excellent draft beer selection with a couple cider &/or seltzer options. I got the beef stroganoff it was creamy, beefy, everything you want stroganoff to be. My fiance had prosciutto grilled cheese with tomato soup that had a nice red pepper flavor. Nice portions, definitely worth checking out.

I stopped in on “Black Friday” on my way to a medical appointment.

The Porterhouse Pub was open and had a few tables occupied, so there was no problem getting seated.

I noticed a bunch of slates with beer names and spotted a cider from Terramar advertising a Strawberry Rhubarb cider and decided I wanted to try that flavor combination. It was sweet with a little tart aftertaste.

For my meal I opted for the Porterhouse Cheese Curds as an appetizer and the Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich with fries for my main dish.

The cheese curds were nicely battered and fried and the housemade ranch was a nice accompaniment to the cheese curds.

The spicy crispy chicken sandwich was only crispy on the outside where the batter was applied! The rest of the chicken was tender and juicy. So tasty . I didn’t think the sandwich was all that spicy, but that would be my fault because I eat jalapeno like candy and routinely use habanero hot sauce on my food. Even though I didn’t think it was all that spicy I did enjoy the flavor and crunch of the sandwich. There was a bunch of steak fries served with my sandwich. Excellent fries, but way too many for me to eat them all. I think I probably ate only 1/4 of them!!

I was very tempted to order a slice of the chocolate cheesecake with housemade fudge for dessert, but I was stuffed by my appetizer and meal.

Excellent Nitro Stout, with a wide selection of craft beers. Food was pretty good, although I was a little disappointed in the rib tips, not much meat and the ends were solid bone. The grilled salmon salad and sweet potato fries were excellent. Nice surroundings and friendly service I would definitely recommend
