The bb.q in our name stands for Best of the Best Quality, and that’s exactly what you can expect from every one of our restaurants. Our Korean fried chicken is crispier, juicier, and more tender than anything you’ve tasted before, and our sauces provide an eclectic mix of flavor. Every dish is the result of both longstanding Korean tradition and modern research and development from our very own Chicken University. It’s a tremendous amount of work, but it’s all worth it when you take that first bite.

The food: 8/10
Chicken was crunchy and juicy. The flavors are delicious. I was disappointed to find some boneless pieces are not white meat. This may be a plus for some but I like white meat only.
The chicken fried rice looked good but was a let down. For $13 I was expecting bigger chunks of chicken and the rice was hardly fried. It was soft and mushy.
Atmosphere: brightly lit cafeteria style dining. Quiet boring music. No tv screens. No alcohol. Bathroom key. No paper towels in the bathroom only hand dryer.
Service: the workers and kind and friendly but I was turned off by the fact that the point of sale system prompted me to tip when I came to the counter to order standing up and went to pickup my order and then cleaned up after myself. So what am I really tipping for?
Conclusion: the food is great but with a price that’s pretty much identical to pelicana I can’t see any reason to ever go to a bbq chicken again unless I’m traveling and it’s the only option available.
The chicken is insanely juicy and flavorful, even without any dipping sauces. It’s not fried so heavily, the outer crust is super light and doesn’t make you feel like you ate solid metal afterwards.
I got the original golden chicken with 2 pieces of Texas toast and fries, and got a side of their secret sauce which was AMAZING (think a seasoned chik fil a Polynesian sauce). The toast was suuuper buttery and flavorful too, a little too oily for my liking but it was worth the skin breakout.
I will definitely be back here! This reminds me of the fried chicken I’ve gotten in Koreatown and I’m so glad it’s local.
Ignore the messy picture at the end
Update:
Chicken Fried Rice is very good. A lot of flavor and I do like the addition of an egg on top.
They do have slightly cheaper meal options. Will try those next time.
