We are ecstatic to have found this place. For years we have gone to the bakery off the highway and we will probably never go back to that one after finding The Pizza House. This restaurant and bakery has a small and cozy atmosphere. The restaurant offers many food options including pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, shrimp, Reuben, sausage and sauerkraut and more. Today we tried the “Poopy’s Special” -a chicken fried chicken sandwich with cheese, sautéed veggies, and hot sauce and chicken fried chicken which came with a salad and choice of fries, tater tots, or onion rings. Both of our plates left us full and delighted. The service today lacked organization, but it seemed there was one waitress for the entire restaurant and there was a large group of 10+ and other patrons also. On the other hand the bakery has a wide variety of baked goods to choose from. Everything looks so good. We ended up buying a few boxes of the the day old baked goods and a man Italian cream cheese cinnamon roll. The cinnamon rolls are MASSIVE and d come in many flavors. Fair pricing on everything in the bakery and restaurant. Love it here!

The service was poor at best. The server forgot to bring out the salad, and only brought it after I asked, which was after the dish came out. I ordered a chicken fried steak and it was over cooked, burnt, and cold. The fries were cold. They didn’t serve the dinner roll that the menu says comes with it.
I asked for extra gravy and the waitress never brought it. She also never checked if I wanted a refill (another beer).
So disappointing because this was my favorite place to eat in West. Sad to see it this bad.

OMGoodness!!!!!! My husband had a business trip and dropped into this bakery and brought home a few items – it’s amazing so moist and flavorful! Now we get to make a small roadtrip to go grab some treats!!!

I have visited this restaurant twice. The first time, the service was terrible, but the food was amazing, so we decided to give it a second chance. Our second experience: When we arrived, we asked the cashier if the back room was open since we had a group of seven. She responded, “I don’t know. I can’t help you, you’ll need to check yourself.”
We went to the back room and sat down. A waitress came in, took the drink order from the table next to us, and said she would be right back. Thirty minutes passed, and she never returned. We then asked the cashier if someone would be taking our order, and she replied, “Sorry, I don’t have time to help you.”
At that point, we got up and left. This restaurant has some of the worst customer service we have experienced, which is disappointing because the food is truly amazing. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

Not your typical pizza place. They have a huge selection of baked pastrys and everything on the menu from chicken fried steak to nachos and of course excellent pizza! We enjoyed the pepperoni pizza, house salad and fried zukini. Excellent place to have dinner or stop by for a sweet treat on your way through town.

Ordered the Czech pizza, which is mustard, kraut, Czech sausage, and cheddar cheese. It’s AMAZING! If you don’t think you like kraut, give this pizza a try, cause I’ll bet it changes your mind. I also got a cherry cream cheese roll on my way out at the recommendation from the waitress. The thing is as big as my hand and delicious to boot! Great yeasty flavor in the dough, set off perfectly by tart cherries and sweet cream cheese. A pleasant surprise to be sure.

This place is a hidden gem! Loads of food for extremely reasonable prices and they added a bakery! Highly recommend stopping by to check them out if you’re ever in this area. We had the popcorn and jumbo fried shrimp and that big fried thing is their skunk egg which is delicious and worth trying out.

Bustling pizza shop in town! They not only have pizza but sandwiches and salads as well. There is a bakery inside which have some of the biggest kolaches & rolls I have seen. The staff did great accompanying our big party.
