I love the staff, I have known the owner since I was a baby and I love how he knows most people who come if not all and some of the staff are like family to me. Speaking of family this restaurant is family friendly but also a good place to go on a date. One of my favorite foods/appetizers is the meatballs in marinara it is amazing and the meatballs are the BEST meatballs I have ever had! Gabby’s Cafe is one of my favorite restaurants, I have had birthday dinners here, regular lunch or dinner here every once in a while, I went on a date here, and I have even stopped here to pick up food. Whether you dine in or take out the food is delicious. If you are in the area you must stop here!

Not sure what the name of the waitress was but she gave me and my bestie THE worse service and attitude. I was excited to go but the excitement left as soon as I walked in. Decor is dated. The food was homemade fresh daily according to the waitress, which, I believe was related to or the owner of the establishment in her demeanor and speech. I didn’t get that in what I saw or tasted.
I do not recommend anyone trying this restaurant there are so many other great restaurants in the city.

Friendly spot with excellent service. Food was sub par. I had the Reuben sandwich which was ok but not great. The fries were soggy. My friend had a pizza and the crust was soggy and the sauce was bland. The atmosphere is that of a corner pub but a bit dingy and dated.

Stopped in with my Mom and had the Capone Pizza minus Olives, Meatball Appetizer and Cauliflower Wings. Food was Great and I was actually surprised about the Cauliflower Wings. Sounded different, didn’t know if I’d like it or not and I actually liked it. Pizza was great as always! Next time I’m getting the Lasagna. Service was great as well! Will definitely be back!
