Restaurant inside Capital Reef Resort. We had the chicken pot pie and hamburger. Both items were pretty good. The pot pie has a flakey crescent over it and the filling had good flavor. I am told the hamburger was better than average. I am a bit disappointed at the prices. They charge more because they can. The staff was friendly. Food was a little slow but better to be hot and fresh than cold. We had breakfast as well. Same idea; food is good prices are high for what you get.

The service was amazing and friendly. We had the orange peel grilled trout and it was fantastic. The mushroom appetizer was amazing and the cobbler with ice cream for dessert was delicious. I am so glad we decided to eat here our last night it was worth it and made our stay memorable.

A low budget operation trying to turn a big profit, not because they deserve it but because they feel they can get away with it. Either the owners are very out of touch or they’re just straight taking advantage of people, because the food and experience was laughable. Looking at the food prices I was expecting it to be really good, but unfortunately the food was just way over priced ($20+ per plate) portions were very small, probably the first time where I’ve gone to a restaurant and then lost my appetite once I saw the food, it was just very sad looking. The only reason I didn’t give it one star is because the flavor was there for the most part, but that may have partially been due to how low my expectation was after seeing it. On top of all that, the service was poor, and we had waited over 1 hour to get our food. Such a disappointment, but I should’ve seen the signs ahead time and gone somewhere else.

Food was great. My wife and I both got the flat iron steak and were impressed. My daughter got the grilled cheese and loved it. The fries and salad were ok. Not impressive but also not repulsive. The service was ok. My wife went a decent amount of time without a refill on her drink, and the server didn’t check on us much after we received our food.

This restaurant was much better than we expected based on the reviews. We wouldn’t have eaten here and tried not to, but in the winter it’s the only game in town. We had both dinner and breakfast.. The food was tasty, portions were adequate, and service was good, with friendly wait staff. More pricey than we liked, but was good quality.

Portions were smaller than expected and there isn’t a ton of variety, especially on the kids menu. Food was fine but nothing to write home about. Service was attentive but not in our faces. Almost every item on the menu comes with fruit and potatoes, including the kids menu (even though it isn’t listed there; that was confusing). Overall, I wouldn’t be against eating here again, but it wouldn’t be at the top of my list.

Attentive friendly service. Good food quality freshly prepared. Breakfast is excellent and dinner exceeded expectations. Can’t beat the convenience of an on site restaurant when you are in a remote destination.

Average Breakfast experience. Excellent hash browns. Eggs were average. Excellent service. Given 1 additional star because of remote location otherwise 3 stars in a larger city.

I ate here twice while on vacation. Both dinners were very good. The chicken pot pie was very hearty and delicious. The peach cobbler was also good and tasted home made. I wish the cobbler had been served warm. The cream of tomato was excellent, but the ribeye steak was just ok. The service is impeccable, considering there is only one server/host/cashier. He kept my tea and water class full.

Arrived around 515pm – seated quickly. Service was friendly and food was good. We ordered the burger and steak sandwich. Both we’re tasty!
