My favorite restaurant hands down in Wakefield. Love the taco salad but I’ve never tried something I didn’t like. Best ranch in town too! Great atmosphere and easy parking. Close to shopping so if you’re out and about it’s a good spot to eat and knock chores out.
I love the booth / tables they have and it’s a great spot for us to host work lunches. I work for a builder close by and 4 to 6 of us big construction dudes have room to spread out without being cramped and there is something on the menu for everyone. They are fast at lunch and the staff is efficient. The crowd is fun and it’s not too loud but it’s also not too quiet so if you were to bring a little kid it’s no big deal if they get loud because it won’t be noticed. My wife loves the cocktails and their apps are awesome! There are so many restaurants that are local that taste simalar and serve the same Cisco food, the pickled onion is different. I work close by so I normally only go for lunch because I live in Fuquay but the wife and I come up every few months to go shopping and eat here. We come for mainly just this restaurant. Keep it up Pickled onion and let’s support our local restaurants when they are kicking butt like they do here.

Places jamming and they have food all night until 2:00 a.m. unlike some of the other places around wake forest. Bartenders are nice They have really good food It’s kind of cozy I really like it a lot. The appetizers came out within minutes and both bartenders are very welcoming. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks

A friend and I visited here last night. It wasn’t packed by any means, just the way I like it. We were able to seat ourselves and were able to order immediately. We had the wedge salad and an order of the 20 count honey habarnero grilled wings. The salad was delicious and the wings were good also just not enough seasoning before being cooked for my taste. I would definitely visit again and try their other selections.

Our experience was excellent! I had the Buffalo Smack (macaroni and cheese with bacon, blue cheese and tasty buffalo fried chicken), my wife had the Philly Cheese Steak which was AWESOME! With extra crispy fries that came out perfect. Draft beer was reasonably priced at $6.00 each. Total bill for two with tip was $46 and change. Very reasonable these days!! Would highly recommend!!

This was our first time here and I can say that we will be back!

To the atmosphere, the food, the service… there is something about a place that makes you feel at home.

This place is it and everything else!!

We didn’t get to take a picture of our food, but everything hit the spot.

I recommend the burger, the shrimp plate, the crack chicken, the hoisin pork belly tacos and the ONION RINGS!!!!!!

My wife ate here with a friend and decided she and I and another family member dine there too.

I had the Black and Blue burger with a side of Onion Rings.

First off, though, we had a dish called Crack Fire for an appetizer. It is well done bacon wrapped around a cheese stuffed Jalapeño pepper. Yum!!

I was happy to discover my burger there — is now my favorite burger anywhere near Wake Forest. A 12 outta 10 burger. Yummers!

They have more flat screen TVs on the the walls than even The Carolina Ale House.

They have 2 bars and 2 eating areas. Service was great and food superb.

Place was packed on a Wednesday afternoon at 1 pm.

Highly recommended restaurant.

Was looking to get outta the house and watch the football game tonight. Split two of the appetizers to try. Got the spinach dip which was amazinggg, and also got the quesadilla. The dip was super flavorful and the pita was plain, but good. The quesadilla was alright, wasn’t bad but nothing special. It needed some kind of sauce to add some good flavor to it. For dinner I got the fish tacos and my brother got the bourbon street chicken. The fish tacos were honestly very good, the chipotle aoli they put on top was tasty and the fish was moist. My only issue with them was I wish there was more fish to the taco. I tried a bite of the chicken and it tasted very good. Was moist and flavorful. Wait staff was attentive and quick, we always had a full drink.

Spinach dip – 8.6/10
Quesadilla – 6.2/10
Fish tacos – 7.7/10
Fries – 8.1/10
Montreal Chicken – 7.8/10

I placed an order for a Philly steak and sweet potato fries. I received this wrap and what tasted like veryyy undercooked fries. I wasn’t able to go to the location so I called for a refund. I was told they would have to speak to cooperate about issuing one? I’m currently in the hospital so this was beyond inconvenient for me when all I wanted was something supposedly better then hospital food…
