I love the booth / tables they have and it’s a great spot for us to host work lunches. I work for a builder close by and 4 to 6 of us big construction dudes have room to spread out without being cramped and there is something on the menu for everyone. They are fast at lunch and the staff is efficient. The crowd is fun and it’s not too loud but it’s also not too quiet so if you were to bring a little kid it’s no big deal if they get loud because it won’t be noticed. My wife loves the cocktails and their apps are awesome! There are so many restaurants that are local that taste simalar and serve the same Cisco food, the pickled onion is different. I work close by so I normally only go for lunch because I live in Fuquay but the wife and I come up every few months to go shopping and eat here. We come for mainly just this restaurant. Keep it up Pickled onion and let’s support our local restaurants when they are kicking butt like they do here.
To the atmosphere, the food, the service… there is something about a place that makes you feel at home.
This place is it and everything else!!
We didn’t get to take a picture of our food, but everything hit the spot.
I recommend the burger, the shrimp plate, the crack chicken, the hoisin pork belly tacos and the ONION RINGS!!!!!!
I had the Black and Blue burger with a side of Onion Rings.
First off, though, we had a dish called Crack Fire for an appetizer. It is well done bacon wrapped around a cheese stuffed Jalapeño pepper. Yum!!
I was happy to discover my burger there — is now my favorite burger anywhere near Wake Forest. A 12 outta 10 burger. Yummers!
They have more flat screen TVs on the the walls than even The Carolina Ale House.
They have 2 bars and 2 eating areas. Service was great and food superb.
Place was packed on a Wednesday afternoon at 1 pm.
Highly recommended restaurant.
