We came here for dinner after a show nearby. From the outside, the place looked very inviting, which is what made us decide to try it. The bar area is very eye-catching, with a full bar and a wide selection of drinks. The interior design around the bar stands out and is clearly visible from outside, making the restaurant look lively and appealing.

As for the food, it was just okay. The restaurant describes itself as fusion Chinese, but it felt more like dishes created by someone imagining what Chinese food might taste like rather than someone deeply familiar with it.

The beef and broccoli had an overpowering garlic flavor, and the minced garlic didn’t seem very fresh because it had a slight sourness. The sauce was also overly salty, and the beef itself was quite tough.

The orange chicken was better. The sauce had a pleasant citrusy orange flavor, and the sweetness of the baby corn paired nicely with it.

We also ordered the fried chicken bao buns as an appetizer. The buns themselves were very soft and nicely steamed, but the overall dish was quite bland. It also included pickles like the kind you’d find in an American hamburger, which didn’t really feel like it belonged there. The sauce tasted like Thousand Island dressing called dragon sauce and was also fairly mild.

Overall, this is a fun place with a nice atmosphere where people can gather and enjoy drinks. However, the food itself
was just average.

I wish I could rate a 5 star but I have to be honest. If I was giving stars based off the appetizers alone it would easily be a 5. Our service was great , and the vibes in here were immaculate – it is well designed. My only “beef” was with the beef and broccoli dish. My beef was inedible I could not chew it it was so tough. I was hoping it was just one or two pieces , no it was very single piece and that is not enjoyable whatsoever. I would never recommend that dish to anyone. But the chicken entrees were great.

I loved the ambiance of the outside patio area!! It was beautiful! I came for a birthday dinner party! I had the vegan lo mein with the vegan noodles.
The dish looked amazing but the noodles were undercooked, but the staff was so pleasant and offered to remake the dish which I appreciated. The dinner party I came with said the cheesbuger spring rolls were fire!! Also, they loved the chicken wontons and pork dumplings. Some stated the fried rice (shrimp, and the chicken with shrimp) needed more seasoning. They shared that the spicy-garlic noodles was delicious and the beef lo mein was equally as great (add extra beef). The beef and broccoli was delightful as well. One stated the almond chicken was good and the other said the almond chicken (thighs) was okay both said they wanted more meat.

Not real Chinese food as we all know, but luckily one of the 4 things my friends and I ordered was good, the fried chicken bao buns were fire. & the crispy eggplant were not crispy at all.

Went for dinner before a concert. It was pretty empty and there was no wait. Service was awesome. The prices are a little high for what the food is. I got sesame chicken and husband got the garlic noodles. You don’t get too much food for what you pay for. My dish was good, just a tad salty. The drinks were really good.

Had a great dinner with friends! Staff was amazing including our server Meghan. Everyone was welcoming. Fun atmosphere! Everything we ordered was delicious…. Cheeseburger spring rolls, crab rangoon, chicken wontons and sesame chicken. I would definitely go here again. Meantime (beer bar) connected to restaurant so went there for a drink afterward.

We had dinner there on Saturday night. There were a few open tables, but considering the bad weather outside, the place was busy enough. We made reservations, so no issue there.
The ambiance is pretty cool and the bar looks great. The service was great, and the staff very knowledgeable and friendly. I am usually not a big fan of Chinese food, the The Peterboro’s take on it was great. We ordered a couple of appetizers and a couple of main dishes, and everything was flavorful and delicious.
We didn’t get to try any of the cocktails because we were going to a jazz bar afterwards, but looking at the stuff that the waitresses were carrying on their trays, it is definitely something that we will do next time.

I’m so glad they now do catering! Every time we want Chinese, this is where we’ll be ordering from. Everything tasted so fresh and “real” if that makes sense. Everyone described the food as Chinese food that takes it up several notches. We tried several things, and everything was so tasty. Even the crab rangoon, which can sometimes just taste like canola oil and cream cheese. These were full of crab flavor and perfectly fried. The bao buns held up nicely for catering, the mushroom dumplings tasted healthy and fresh, and the chicken dishes were so good. The sesame chicken had delicious veggies and the almond chicken was crispy but not dry, with lots of slivered almonds and a savory gravy. Delicious! It’s been so difficult to find decent Chinese food in the city, so I’m so glad we tried them today. Highly recommend.

We’ve been there twice in the last year. If we got to Detroit more often I would go more often. The service is very good. Marty the Manager? Owner? greeted us and chatted a little – very nice that he makes that effort. And Sid the bartender is amazing. She was there both times we’ve been there. She takes a genuine interest in your preferences and makes suggestions. She is not just a bartender but a true mixologist. She is very kind and personable too.

The food was good. We had the cheeseburger springrolls which sound weird but were actually pretty tasty. Also the mushroom dumplings which with a little spicy and delicious. And then the garlic noodles with chicken. Also very good.

The other food we saw looked delicious too.
