Food was delicious. I didn’t think the food would be as good as it was! I had the chicken chimichangas and they were delicious and i loved the taco soup. My friend got the oysters and she loved them as well. We came in on Sunday for lunch and we were very pleased. I’d definitely come back again. And Leon was our server, he was great.

From the minute we pulled into the parking lot and saw all the cars, we knew we were in the right place! We were greeted immediately upon entering and seated right away. Our server brought chips and salsa as he introduced himself and asked if we would like a beverage. We came for the Oysters and Calamari. Ordered Oysters Parmesan and Bacon wrapped Oysters. Let me tell you, the Parmesan Oysters were fantastic!!! Bacon wrapped were good as well but we ordered another round of the Parmesan!!! Calamari were good and the housemade tartar sauce was outstanding!!! Excellent service and food. Will definitely be going back!!!

Well been awhile since we have been here the gumbo wasn’t good more like deep brown gravy without any seafood. The PO-Boy was a diy project served with what I wanted on it on the side shrimp was excellent and the bread was delicious not a do over any time soon

For years Oyster Bar & Grill is my go to on special occasions. Today was my birthday, and they did NOT disappoint. We had the oysters on a half shell and they were delicious my husband had the bacon wrapped shrimp and I had the lemon butter shrimp. 10/10 would and will eat there again!

Ordered Oyster Parmesan 1 1/2 dz, lunch pork chops with side salad, parmesand garlic shrimp with salad and fries, catfish lunch with fries and fried shrimp. Pork chop was nice and tender, only issue I had was it was a little burnt and you can taste the burn. Oysters were ok, could have been cleaned a little better due to pieces of the shell was chipped off with Oyster and bitten on while consuming Oyster. Other than that the service was great and atmosphere. Will try again in future when back in town and see if rating will improve.

We had our office Christmas party there, and it was a wonderful experience. The server, whose name I wish I remembered, was fantastic and very attentive. He did a great job accommodating our large group. While I found the food to be lacking—specifically, I had the catfish and shrimp—the rest of the group seemed to enjoy their drinks. Overall, we had a great time!

The food was super good. The place was nearly arranged with tables inside and outside -in case you got too cold inside-. Flavor was good, color and consistency. The flavor was unique and very tasty. This place had one of the best oysters I’ve ever had. Living in Maryland and Virginia, I thought they had the best…. But forgot about Southern Louisiana oysters…. They are amazing. Their mesquite Grilled oysters are also amazing!

This is one of the outings I take my 88 year old dad on. He loves oysters and hadn’t had them in many years. We drive from Carthage TX 45 minutes to get there. Almost always no wait. Waitstaff is always excellent for us. Food arrives quickly. Love to read the signs on the walls, they are entertaining. Looking through the reviews, it appears they may have some off days occasionally, as we all do, but we have always had a great experience. The oysters are always great too and we have never gotten ill from eating there. We will be back tomorrow night in fact!
