Decided to give this place a try. Very cool vibe. I thought our service was pretty subpar though. The portions are sizeable but I wish there could be variations to some of the items, such as an egg white omelette or the potatoes minus the meat. Overall it’s not bad but I don’t plan on coming back.

Atmosphere would have 4 stars if not for the ac being out, making it a little too warm for comfort. Service was not bad, but nothing special and fairly slow considering there were only a few other diners. The real disappointment was the food. I have been looking forward to trying The Parsonage for a while, I was excited about the flexibility of the menu as I often prefer meatless options. Also they had me with the promise of local ingredients. Unfortunately my companion and I were both rather disappointed. The corned beef hash had some type of sausages in it, definitely not corned beef, and both the sausages and potatoes were obviously cooked much earlier in the day. By the time it arrived at our table they were hard and dry and comparable to what might come from a gas station hot bar after sitting all day. The biscuit and gravy were also just plain disappointing and lacking much flavor. My impression was that I was served frozen biscuits topped with watered down canned gravy. The best thing we were served was the toad in a hole, which was not bad, but my companion would have preferred the yolk not be cooked hard. Unfortunately she was never asked. Honestly I don’t see any reason to return, as I can get a better meal from a chain restaurant.

Visited this restaurant for brunch on a Sunday. The location is nice and the interior is very welcoming. The staff were very nice and considerate as well. The food was good but the menu seemed to have it’s shortcomings. The menu is basically what you see is what you get so if you order something, like a breakfast sandwich, it doesn’t come with any type of side. The lunch items do come with sides but you cannot order lunch until 12 PM, just a heads up. The cinnamon rolls are huge and soft but they have quite a bit of orange zest or flavoring which wasn’t expected. Overall it isn’t a bad restaurant and I would go again.

Not impressed at all! I had met the owners, John and Ramey, at the winner’s reception for Readers Choice Awards from Occasions Magazine, and we talked at length about farm fresh chicken eggs and how a green apple can pair with really salty stuff and balance it out. So, I was really excited to go there and eat. I went today and like I said, I was not impressed. I was, in all actuality, BLOWN AWAY! I literally froze and said OMG! The flavor was so good! The potato hash soup might just be the best thing I ever tasted. Go get some of that so you can be “not impressed” too! And tell John and Ramey I sent you!

I’ve been meaning to try this place for several years, but either they’d be closed or we’d change our minds or a global pandemic would spring up. Seems like there was always something, but not to worry, finally made it through their doors last week and hey, I should’ve gone a long time ago. Food was fabulous! Toad-N-Da-Hole(!) is something of a breakfast novelty – you can hardly ever find them – but Parsonage features it on their brunch menu and it’s exceptional. Highly recommend!

Service was great food taste great! The reason for my low review is the coffee is a bit watery and the menu sucks. You can’t order anything ala carte or add a side to your dish. What you see on the menu is what you get plus whatever special they are serving. When you pay over $60 for four people you shouldn’t leave still hungry.

The food was delicious. The salad was incredibly fresh and the sandwich was perfect. The soup has a great depth of flavor that I recommend to anyone. The service and the decor was great as well.
