Came here for the first time this evening with my boyfriend! First of all, they had me at frozen daiquiris. I got the Bushwacker and he got the “GAI” (grown a$$ icee)! We shared a pulled pork sandwich with a side of jalapeño Mac. This is the first time I’ve ever been to a restaurant where the jalapeño Mac is ACTUALLY spicy so bravo to the chef! The bartender was great, atmosphere very laid back and their bbq sauces were lovely as well. Can’t wait to make these frozen daiquiris an after gym routine!

We went Friday, July 14 the ribs were delicious and the roast beef sandwich was very good. They told us they were operating off of limited Menu…we also got the slaw and the macaroni, good food we will be back.

First time dining at the Palm & Pig. The atmosphere was comfortable and casual. It was small, but had a nice size bar seating area. I also noticed a small stage, where they had live music. We were seated promptly and our waitress came shortly after. My husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich, fries and baked beans. He really enjoyed the sandwich and fried but the beans were just regular pork n beans. I had the roast beef poboy, and fries. The bread was delicious and soft, but the beef although tender, was flavorless. I added one of the sauces that was on the table and that made a big difference. The fries were just the right size and nice and crispy. Overall good dining experience, we will probably try them again after the grand opening.

Tried this new place. Disappointing. We ordered pulled pork sandwich, smoked chicken sandwich, mac & cheese and jalapeno hush puppies. Pulled pork sandwich was good, but the bbq sauce dispenser has to be squeezed so hard to get sauce out, it blasts across the table when it finally comes out. Smoke chicken sandwich was just a fried chicken sandwich with zero flavor. Hush puppies were not done and need cooked longer. When the waiter came back we gave him our review and he said he put our order in wrong on the chicken sandwich. They’re new so we’ll go back again and give them another shot. They should have responded better when they told us they brought us the wrong food. If they play blasting music in that small loud space, outside is the only seating option to be comfortable.
