Came in on Labor Day and never been to the place. Burger was actually cooked to my liking and was nothing fancy but all it needed to be. It was also on special for $6 and added tots which were cooked perfect for another $1. Could have fed a family of 4 with all those tots. Bar maid was well tenured and running the joint like a seasoned pro.

11/02/22: Dropped in to discover new owners. The place was very clean. It was pleased but there was a very, very loud person in the bar. It’s a small bar so eating and dinner conversations were difficult.

I got the fish fry that everyone raves about. The pieces were small and dry/overcooked. They substituted my blue gill with 2 tiny smelt. To top it off, there was a long hair fried in to my perch breading.

The cheese curds are the best. They’re so light and the perfect bite. Fish fry was phenomenal. We wanted them to do “happy birthday” for our son. They said they don’t have dessert but went out of their way to come up with something. We will be back to try the burgers.
