Great spot near the lake. You gotta join them on Friday night for the fish. Fry and those potato pancakes are awesome. Good quality food and reasonable prices. You can even get a 6-pack to go.

11/02/22: Dropped in to discover new owners. The place was very clean. It was pleased but there was a very, very loud person in the bar. It’s a small bar so eating and dinner conversations were difficult.
I know I will be back. The waffle frys were crispy and delicious. If they can repeat that I’ll be there regularly. Let’s see how the atmosphere updates….

Came in on Labor Day and never been to the place. Burger was actually cooked to my liking and was nothing fancy but all it needed to be. It was also on special for $6 and added tots which were cooked perfect for another $1. Could have fed a family of 4 with all those tots. Bar maid was well tenured and running the joint like a seasoned pro.

The bartender Deana was really nice. The beer was good but was not ice cold. We did not order food but the menu looked pretty good. The packer Burger and the Friday fish fry were highly recommended.

the packer inn in silver lake is my wife and I favorite spot for Friday night fish fry! in my opinion the best in the area, typically we either get the walleye or perch which are both excellent generous portions of fish and the corn fritters with the honey butter is to die for. If you are looking for quality and value this is the place to go hands down!

We ordered carry out, everything was fried way too long. Mushrooms were dark, burnt dark. Pickles were all stuck together in a pile and didn’t really taste good, at all. COD was good. Maybe eating in would be different?
