The Outer Edge is just that slightly off the beaten path and well worth finding. No complaints here the food was fantastic, Monica gave great service and Randy who cooked the food came out and talked to us about specials they have… really great people and cool atmosphere. Tenderloins were delicious made locally, fried green beans super fresh, great portions and very reasonable prices.. Definitely will come back here. Thanks guys for the great experience.

This place is the hidden gem of illinois. Such a great place. I have no negative remarks about it. The staff was absolutely amazing, super interactive and nice. The food was incredible. They had the BEST burger! -BBQ burger. It was melt in your mouth good. There salad was in a big portion and very fresh. All in all we will be back and telling others about the place.

We had great food service was very friendly. Outdoor decor is cool to look at and everything was clean. This is a nice family dinner spot. Prices are simple $9dollar $8dollar prices non of this 8.99 meal nonsense. There is a banquet room for larger parties or events.

The service was okay main thing was our waitress come bringing out one of our cups of ice to be used for my son’s soft drink under her arm? I guess they’ve never heard of a cocktail tray or a drink tray. Whatever you want to call it. The fries were just a little undercooked and the tenderloins were okay but the buns we’re way over toasted borderline hard. Love the atmosphere. Don’t think we’ll be going back. You thought we try something new on a Saturday night

Nice little gem in Atkinson. Very clean and great atmosphere. Was there on a Friday night. Inhad the meat loaf special. It was very good. Reminded me of my own style that I cook. And the cheesy potatoes were excellent! Staff was great as expected! I wish I would have taken a picture of the meal. Just imagine being at home with a big slab of meat loaf, cheesy potatoes and green beans on a plate You will get the jist. Stop in and check this place out. Worth the trip!

Had a small gathering of people here (15), and couldn’t have picked a better spot. They had a back area that was set up for us with reserved tables, wait staff, TVs etc. Decor is rustic reclaimed wood, corrugated tin, a really cool poured concrete bar, and old hunting and fishing memorabilia on the walls.
