Good food, good prices, friendly service! Now serving breakfast food, too! My friend and I eat here frequently since we see movies at the Kent AMC (a very good theater, also) every weekend. The chicken salad is my fav and their honey mustard dressing is perfect. My friend orders breakfast every time and swears by it.

Always wanted to give this place a try but since I live out of state, never got the opportunity. Today that changed. I ordered a Double Rocket and substituted the cheddar for American cheese. Picture speaks for itself. Burger was exceptional. Perfection when it comes to seasoning and doneness. Beef tasted fresh and I loved the course grind of it. Bun nicely toasted and veggies were as fresh as they come. Look at how they even dressed up the slice of lettuce! Lastly, employees were polite and courteous. Inside of the building was very clean.

Conclusion, in aware that this brand has been on the decline for a while with many locations closing down. This one is still around and I hope it remains so.

I’m sad that they changed the birthday reward as it went from a birthday burger to a birthday milkshake. I got their Rocket Dog to get my free milkshake. I really enjoyed the bun of the hot dog and the sausage itself was juicy. I also appreciate that they offer more for toppings instead of the usual condiments. The strawberry milkshake was very refreshing and smooth. The strawberry flavor also tasted really good too. The store looked pretty clean during the time I was there.

The male employee here did forget my milkshake and if I had forgotten, I would have missed out on it so that is one of my complaints. The other issue is that it did take a longer to get my order compared to the original estimated time. But the male employee was friendly and ensured that I got my bag that had my order number and name on it. This is currently the only Johnny Rocket that is closest to where I live so I hope they continue to stick around.

It’s not easy to find a real American-style diner around Seattle, so I was glad to discover Johnney Rocket in Kent. The area feels clean and safe, with no trouble finding street parking. The retro diner vibe inside and out is just perfect, and the food tastes exactly like what I imagined before moving here. A milkshake is always a must for me at places like this, and it never disappoints. American diner food is something I really enjoy, and this spot captures it perfectly. American diner food is something I truly enjoy, and I want to eat as much of it as I can before heading back to Japan. Visited 2025.3

Overpriced for what is served. Burgers are small. No fries included and fryer was not working when I ordered fries on side. Drink was almost $4. Not what I was expecting at all. A drink and 2 burgers with no sides were $30.

This was an amazing experience. The tots were crispy and so good, only complaint was I wish there had been more. Burger was juicy and perfectly cooked, my son wished there was more sauce on his burger and his chocolate peanut butter shake could have had more peanut butter flavor, however when I tasted it I tasted more peanut butter than chocolate so, it really is a matter of personal preference.
The cost was typical, $108 for four full meals.
All in all, I will eat there again, sooner rather than later.

Johnny Rockets in Kent is one of my son’s and my favorite spots! We keep coming back for their delicious cheeseburgers and fun nostalgic vibe. Samim is always our waiter, and he remembers us and welcomes us back every time!!! 🙂 Sitting at the tall. red bar stools is always a highlight — it feels like stepping back in time in the best way.
Highly recommend!

There’s not a lot of parking near the restaurant. We were immediately greeted when we walked in. Cool old school diner. The place was clean. We ordered a couple of burgers and Malts. The food was fantastic, and the portions were huge. Onion rings and tots were also great.
