Good, friendly, and fast customer service. This was our first time eating here and I’m glad we tried it. We got the peach pancakes and corned beef hash with potato pancakes. We highly recommend this location and would eat here again in the future.

Service was good, atmosphere was noisy but fine. Food, oh boy. Bacon and eggs were good, but I really wanted pancakes. The buttermilk pancakes smelled like beer and had a very strange taste. I won’t be going back

There are no vegan options whatsoever, there are a few vegetarian and gluten free options however. Service and setting where good. Definitely an old time feel. My partner was very satisfied with her meal. Surprised there was no wait at 1pm on Mother’s Day

Old fashion pancake place. Omelettes, French toast, eggs Benedict, waffles. Lots of parking.

I’m quite surprised to find it so busy on a Friday morning around 9am. I think people are on to something meeting up friends and family to catch up on a Friday over breakfast. The best item on the menu and one of my favorites every time I visit is the Dutch baby pancake which is a slightly smaller version of the German Pancake (only a couple dollars more). I recommend coming here super hungry and splurging on the German Pancake and pan on using all the lemons and smothering your pancake with the whipped butter provided. *Chef’s kiss*

Forever my favorite breakfast place. I’ve travel here to get pancakes ever since I was a kid. Hard to like other places growing up with this. Too good. Get the GermanDutch baby. Apple pancake is also the best… like a thick crepe.

It was kinda packed when I came, but the wait was only 10 or so minutes. Our server was quick to get our drinks. The size of the cups are a little small for my taste. I had pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, and potatoes. They were all very good. I looked as if most of the employees here were very young kids, between 16-24 years old and I thought that was cool. I like places that give the youth a chance to work.

We come here a couple of times per year. They are known for their pancakes and original style omelettes. I usually stay with their basic foods, eggs, bacon, coffee. This trip I had their “famous Joe” breakfast, which was really good. Pictured here: Famous Joe, Eggs Florentine, Spinach Omelette, and Eggs Michael. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating.

I truly don’t understand how this restaurant has so many good reviews. The wait is ridiculously long for mediocre, bland food. I’m not a very picky person but I can get waffles like theirs from the frozen section in a grocery store. Even getting a drink refill was an issue. I usually give restaurants a second chance if my first experience was less than expected, but I’ve had enough disappointment. There are SO many other options for a breakfast place in San Diego! Don’t waste your time/money here.
