Quiet, Monday afternoon. Delicious food, good service, excellent portions. Our waiter knew the menu well and made excellent suggestions.

Went to Original Pancake House with my family after church. A friend of mine said that the food was good and that I should check them out. The wait wasn’t long, about 10 mins, and the host was pleasant. Our waitress was pleasant. My wife ordered the Southwestern Omelette with pancakes. The omelette was huge. My son ordered the chicken and waffles and hashbrowns. I ordered banana pancakes that came with 2 eggs, bacon, and choice of hashbrowns or home fries. I chose the hashbrowns and had onions added. The food was excellent. The pancakes were light and well sized. I would’ve preferred the bananas mixed into the pancake batter since the upcharge was 2.99, but they were good nonetheless. The pricing was good, and they included the gratuity in the bill. They allow service dogs in the restaurant. That may be a deal breaker for some. I asked to be seated away from the dogs. I parked on the street, but there is a parking lot adjacent to the restaurant. We will be going back.

This place was a waste of time. The service was good and the staff was friendly. The restaurant on the other hand is a dump. The heat don’t work. Everyone including the staff was walking around in coats and hats. The bathrooms are horrible to include the tp sitting on top of the trashcan inside of the ladies stall. Now to the food; the bacon, eggs and sausage are delicious. The original pancakes are nasty and the shredded hash browns are really greasy and have an after taste. To make this already long review short, just don’t waste your time or money.

Generous, flavourful, fluffy, crunchy – they’ve ticked off all the right food adjectives and our breakfast was 10/10! There was a significant wait, around 20+ minutes, but the pancakes, French toast, scrambled eggs and chicken&waffles were all worth it !

Waitress was very inattentive, rushing us to get our order in but then rarely ever came back to check on us, another waitress had to go grab her to get us our check. Crepes were fine, my boyfriend got the pancake works, he said the pancakes tasted bitter and were heavy, hash browns had the texture of potatoes but tasted nothing like potatoes. 18% gratuity is automatically added for ALL dine in orders, which would be fine if the food and service were better. We came from out of town but won’t return. You’re better off going to First Watch!

Original Pancake House was really good, there was a wait but it wasn’t that long. My server was wonderful and greeted me with a smile. The food was really good and everything came out hot. A little disappointed that u didn’t get warm syrup with the meal and also there was trash under my table that I wasn’t pleased about. The bathroom was clean but didn’t have paper towels in the dispenser. However, overall I gave them 4 stars, I would go back again and they are really reasonable

Had just the most incredible cheeseburger here, and my friend had the chicken & waffle – we were both wonderfully satisfied, as the place seemed to have the magical power of “hitting the spot” that both of us were craving. Couldn’t have imagined a better place to go for brunch. Don’t miss it! Even if you have to wait a while – it’s worth it! Will be dreaming of this spot for a while!

We were there for a 60th birthday breakfast. We were seated quickly. Our waiter was fabulous. He was attentive, courteous, and had a happy attitude. A guy who took his job seriously with joy. I had a veggie omelet and buttermilk pancakes. I loved the omelet, eggs done just right with lots of vegetables and cheese. It was a big enough to take 1/3 home. The pancakes were delicious. The dishes others had were chocolate chip pancakes, blueberry pancakes, French toast, crepes, scrambled eggs, sausage, and English muffins. Everyone was happy with the quality, and the coffee was robust.
This was my 1st visit. Ill be back.

Amazing atmosphere. Perfect place for breakfast and brunch. Very convenient location. Surface lot (Parking) in 2 min walking distance from the restaurant. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
PS. The portion sizes of the pancakes (3 piece) and all the other breakfast items are huge! Enough for more than one!

We have visited TOPH multiple times in multiple states. Our visit to this location is usually great. Today my pancakes, hash browns, and bacon all had a funny aftertaste. My eggs did not they were good. My husband’s pancakes had the same aftertaste.
I notified the waitress and asked if the eggs were cooked on a separate grill. She stated they were made in a pan. I could tell that they were cooked separately from the other foods. I requested that my order be removed from the bill.
The owner came over and apologized, which was greatly appreciated. However, he mentioned that they don’t use chemicals on the grill. If you don’t use chemicals, how do you clean the grill?
I found that statement odd. It’s okay if the grill was cleaned with a chemical or solution and it wasn’t cleared off properly. I rather that then you don’t use chemicals. Using plain water is not cleaning a grill and I would be silly to believe that a chemical wasn’t used on the grill.
My husband’s food was good (shrimp omelet) and we will return in the future. I will chalk this up to an off day as no day will be perfect. The waitress was amazing and the other staff was as well. The waitress also apologized for the taste.
