There is usually a line so order a head if you’ve been here. People are great and food is legit authentic. I need a sub 1-2x a week. Also bread is baked fresh and typically sell put daily. This place is worth the wait and money.

Oh man, lol. They have probably the best Italian sub sandwich I’ve ever had in my life! The bread was perfectly fresh and crispy. The amount of meats and cheese was just right; the spiciness was on point too. Don’t need to add anything to it either. I gotta give kudos to their homemade cheesecake, just delicious!

You want things Italian? This is THE place to go. Sausage, deli, pasta sauces and many other items. Open only Wednesday thru Saturday 9-4. Seems it’s always busy. And that’s good for them. Their original store was around the corner from our house on Chicago’s west side. 70+ years in business. Drive, walk or run. Just get there!

I bought the Italian Sausage for cooking at home. It was excellent. Also there are no preservatives like nitrates or nitrites in that sausage so you must use it or freeze it soon after purchase. It could be the best Italian Sausage I’ve ever had. I had also bought vodka red sauce for pasta, which was also a big treat.

Nottoli’s Italian sub might not look like much from the outside, but then you peel it open you got homemade salami, prosciutto, capicola, mortadella and provolone. Absolutely fantastic sandwich – why anybody in the area would ever go to Subway is beyond me.
