Dear fellow hungry people. If you have a taste for some home cooking, this is it!!!! My husband and I had been wanting some turkey wings for the longest time so we finally stopped here today. We had the smothered turkey wing dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy and mixed greens with a lovely dessert of rice pudding. When I say it’s good. It’s good!!!! The setting is wonderful. They play music softly in the background while you devour your delicious meal. Mr. Henry treats everyone like family. It’s warm and loving atmosphere. It’s a real taste of home. They even have pig’s feet. Maybe I will get that the next time I come there. So if you are dying for a home cooked meal. Please stop by. You will not be disappointed. The sweet tea is awesome!

Drove down from Richmond on a recommendation. We heard the pies were amazing, but they had sold out, so it was lemon cake for dessert, which was quite good. My sister and I both got the smothered pork chops, which were delicious. Sides included green beans, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and cabbage, all of which were down home good. They were out of pig’s feet, a particular favorite of mine — I will definitely be back to try them. Very nice people, great service. DO NOT CONFUSE with the old 15th St. Cafe – they took over those premises and the old signage is still up – but this is under new owners. Go see these folks.

The service was poor. I expected more because it was recommend to me. I didn’t know that southern cornbread had Jalapenos in it. This through me way off. The food was good but it took to long to come to my table. I gave it three star’s because they didn’t live up to the name. When I hear the name ” Heavenly Hands ” I think excellence.

I loved the food. Didn’t know this place was opened. I heard they came from Petersburg. The waiters could use a little more training but I still give it a 5. They Don’t have a specific menu but at least you know your food is freshly cook each day. It’s a must try!
