This is hands down the best Jewish-style deli in the entire city of St. Pete and beyond. My usual order is their Brie, bacon, and blueberry jam on buttered challah, with a side of fries, and their scrumptious matzo ball soup.
The owner and chef Rachel really has created a restaurant that offers incredible eats and a bright, fun, and welcoming ambiance. There’s tons of parking and the service is quick and personable. Take a stroll around Abercrombie Park after you eat to digest all this fresh New York deli energy!

Fresh from NYC, Sandwiches stacked as high as the Empire State building! Got the Hot Brisket sandwich super stacked! Had to be a pound of meat in this thing! Comes with side. I got the chips, wife got quinoa salad. Chips were salt and vinegar which made me so happy! Quinoa salad is quinoa salad! Ha! Great place with good prices for amount of food given!

I’ve been to the Nosh pit x2 and both visits were enjoyable. You order at the counter and they bring your food when it’s ready which is always my favorite way to dine. They have a lot of variety on the menu but I always seem to end up with something brisket or pastrami based. I tried the pass-a-grilled cheese which was hot, fresh & delicious. The brisket was tender and juicy, mixed with a grilled cheese was awesome. I appreciate the pickle that accompanies their meals as well. The potato knish was also to die for, definitely home made and seasoned to perfection.

My wife and I picked up a couple of sandwiches on the way to the nearby park and were very satisfied with the takeaway experience: toasted bread sandwiches were fresh, delicious, and carefully made to order. There’s a nice number and array of menu selections that we will be exploring more.

It’s like Kat’s Deli in NYC. But times better.
Angry Rachel, the pastrami sandwich, was some of the most delicious food I have had in a long time.
Went back the next day to have the local legend. Another delicious meal!

I ordered the pastrami/Reuben Rachel for the first time and it was phenomenal. The sandwich was so flavorful with just the right amount of pastrami coleslaw Swiss cheese and Russian dressing. The pastrami was so tender and well seasoned that I couldn’t even believe a pastrami sandwich could taste so good. I even liked the toasted challah bread after trying it for the first time. Even though my delivery charge was almost eight dollars I will definitely order again from GrubHub.

I’ve been wanting to come here for just for the clever the name alone!
I finally got around to it today.
It lives up to the name and then some.
They even had some good jams on , selected by the staff , which already got me in a good mood.
It gets better, Cannis was my server.
I love it when somewhere I wanna eat has someone that is delightful at the counter and actually greets me verbally, with eye contact…and tops it off with a smile too. Then listens intently and my order perfect
So even if you don’t like the ridiculously good food their customer service and atmosphere rocks just as hard!

I cannot say enough nice things about the Nosh Pit, but I will say this establishment has become the place I recommend to anybody and everybody looking for great food made by great people. I love the Reuben options, for I can have it with Smoked Salmon or Tofu….. The sides, including fries and chips made in house and I can’t get enough of their quinoa! Cannis and the rest of the family are phenomenal and so loving and they have a stellar music selection. I obviously recommend this most excellent place for your yummy tummy experience! Thanks Nosh!!

Hands down, best reuben I’ve had in the area! Perfectly balanced and amazing flavors! So many places slather on thousand island but not here, it was perfect! Chips were delicious with salt and vinegar! Hot dog was yummy, and the Matzo ball soup was amazing. Did I mention the creamy cheesecake! Everyone was happy and full! Great first time experience!
***Update: Do not work there and our experiences are ours. Keep in mind that restaurants are like people as they also too have bad days, like it or not. If you consistently get bad days, then do not go back, but please do not besmirch other reviewers’ opinions of their good experiences at this particular establishment.
