Awesome location. Bar/food etc closed at 3 (lifts closed by 4 on that Monday). I reached 3:03 but couldn’t get beer

Has outdoor seating too. Great location for a pit stop and to take pics.

We love eating here the food is great and I highly recommend the canned Fanta and chicken strips with French fries- it is even better when you eat them outside in the snow!

The food here at Crystal Mountain High Campbell Lodge used to be great. There was a decent selection of diverse cuisines and it was far better quality and worth the price.

Now December 2024, burger, pizza, frozen chicken tenders and fries. Totally lame and basic. Worse yet the food quality is a major disappointment. A simple cheeseburger is dry as a hockey puck, no lettuce, no tomato, no onion. I should’ve brought my own Dick’s burger, it would’ve been better cold.

Come on #alterra you can do better.

Really clean and plenty of room to sit down. The manager was walking around tidying up, and chatting with customers. She generously let me borrow her phone charging cable. A little shop for emergency gear would be a great addition to the lodge.

We love to have lunch here. Lucky we did not go on weekend otherwise would be long line to waiting to order my food, clean bathroom, staff very friendly.

Bizarre line setup. One line only for chicken strips. One for everything else. Neither is signed to indicate which is which. Enjoy waiting through (2) 20-30 minute lines if you want to order a burger and chicken strips. Oblivious, checked-out staff.

The food at Campbell basin went from great To inedible as of the winter of 24–25. The Hamburger is literally a hockey puck. The chili was absolutely disgusting. The beef in it was tough and overcooked and it was entirely over peppered, rendered truly inedible. The only thing I could eat were the fries which were OK. If you miss the salmon sandwich, I’m with you. The food here used to be so much better.

Do not eat the food. It’s awful. It would be over priced if it was good, but as is, it’s over priced garbage. Barely edible.

The view and location is nice. Makes you overlook the $16 beer you just bought, because it’s still beer. Unlike the food.

Both better food and cheaper than typical US ski lodge fare, $14 for a decent size soup bowl or mac and cheese as of Feb 2024.
Nice setting.
Flip side, very crowded. Questionable etiquette with people grabbing tables way before they have some food.
