Been here so many times over the years. I have had almost everything on the menu. We travel two hours to eat here. The Breakfast selections are AMAZING. Truck Stopper sandwich is spot on. Appetizers, Alle carte sides, Sandwich’s (club, Rueben, BLT, grilled Cheese, Crab cake Sandwich) Wraps, Burgers, Salads, Milkshakes, Alcoholic Milkshakes, I have never had a complaint on anything I have ordered. The last time I was here the BBQ meatloaf was spot on. Today I had the open faced roast beef and the Mrs. had the turkey. Sweet tea is the best. Great beer and cocktails and shots as well. We will be back soon!

I had the corned beef hash breakfast with scrambled eggs and I added a biscuit and gravy. The eggs especially were wonderful, definitely seem farm fresh. The potatoes were delicious too…ok so really everything was great! Faith was super friendly and fast, everyone here made me feel very welcome for my first visit here. Will definitely be coming back!

Came here with my wife for lunch and sat outside in the patio area. I got the meatloaf sandwich and it was solid, I wouldn’t say it was mindblowing but it was good. My wife got the chorizo breakfast bowl and it was massive and she was happy with it. There was also a random man playing the saxophone outside not connected to the restaurant that was kind of nice. The inside area also looked cool though we did not eat there.

We were sat quickly and Kim was on the ball getting our drinks and food out to us ASAP. Seriously can’t talk Kim up enough, she knows what she’s doing and was a delight of a waitress! Food was cooked quickly and came out perfect. Our eggs were exactly as we ordered and the Irish coffees were some of the best we’ve ever had.

Great spot for a meal & to visit. They serve all day breakfast choices- friends enjoyed veggie omelet with potatoes, onions & peppers… while the other had the classic with fresh blueberries added on top of pancakes. I enjoyed a special – fish tacos with mango salsa- delicious! Generous portions & nice staff.

We picked here without knowing much about it. There was a small wait to be seated. The food was excellent. The menu is fun. Not wild but different and the items that may seem simple are prepared excellently, making for an excellent experience. The space is beautiful. We thought the prices were reasonable. We absolutely look forward to eating here again.

I recently dined at The Nook, located in the historic downtown mall of Charlottesville, and it was a delightful experience. The outdoor seating area was clean and inviting, with a thoughtful water bowl for dogs, making it a perfect spot for pet owners. The standout dish was the Berries & Cream Stuffed French Toast—classic artisan bread filled with sweet mascarpone cream cheese and macerated strawberries, all topped with a blueberry-strawberry medley. It was, without a doubt, the best French toast I’ve ever had: perfectly cooked and deliciously sweet. The service was exceptional, with our waitress being incredibly friendly and attentive. If you’re looking for a charming brunch spot with fantastic food and a welcoming atmosphere, The Nook is a must-visit.

The food was really good here. I was sad they didn’t have chicken fried steak, but the excellent pork chop made up for it. The cinnamon roll was excellent as well. My wife had a vegetarian meal she really enjoyed.
