10/10 Recommend, expect a bit of wait if you go during breakfast/brunch time. The food is so good and the staff are super friendly and attentive. Portions are a decent size and food comes out relatively fast.

What a great spot for Breakfast/Lunch/Brunch! The menu is full of difficult choices. The service is fantastic and the food was always prepared to a high standard. BTW, they have a great selection of drinks/cocktails. My only complaint (which they say they hear all the time) is that they’re not open for diner. We ate there 4 days in a row if there’s any doubt how much we liked it.

Nice little spot on Main St. It was a 20 minute wait, but I found a seat at the bar. Very friendly staff. I got the lemon, poppy waffle with blueberry compote, and it was delicious. So much lemon flavor! The place is accessible to all, it’s a little close walking down the aisles. All of the food selections on the menu look good, and those alcoholic milkshakes looked great!

Got there around 9 on Saturday morning no wait. The food was amazing. I had French toast and bacon and my husband had the BLT. Said it was so yummy the way the bacon was out in the sandwich. Definitely will come back next time we visit Charlottesville

Hands down the best Nashville Hot Chicken and Waffles that I’ve had. The berries and cream French toast was delicious, and the chorizo sausage bowl was…chefs kiss. I will definitely visit here the next time I’m in Charlottesville. Also…our server was phenomenal, but unfortunately, I didn’t get her name. Overall, definitely recommend.

Sat quickly. Staff was nice. Didn’t receive specials, but I saw them taped to the door and ordered a peach sangria and Mahi Mahi tacos. Tacos were ok. Sangria was good. Was given bill about midway through meal. I was going to order another drink, but couldn’t because the bill came. I think their breakfast is likely better here based on other reviews.

Very nice home feel, traditional breakfast menu and drinks. We had the nicest server and the hostess was also super kind. The food wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but it is on par with diner breakfast foods. Although, my meal didn’t have me longing for more, I would definitely come back.

Food was off the chain (salmon Benedict, side of bacon). Waitress had other things on her mind I guess, kept having to flag the busboy/hostess down to r3fill my coffee. Ambiance was cozy.

My husband and I were looking for a place to eat brunch outside. I’m a Cville native so I know the hit or miss nature of The Nook but today was definitely a miss. I ordered the Corned Beef Brisket Hash. When my $17 plate arrived it was dried out over cooked canned corned beef hash and breakfast potatoes that had been reheated too many times. They were burnt, greasy, and somehow also cold. When I mentioned that the corned beef was not brisket but canned, the server argued with me. I’m a professional chef and a connoisseur of corned beef. I love the canned stuff too but I wouldn’t pay $17 for it. She kept insisting it wasn’t canned. Ok, maybe it was vacuum packed but it was not brisket as advertised. She then yelled at me from across the patio that I could have sent it back. She said she was a manager. I’ve managed, served, and cooked and nothing about that meal or interaction was well done. Except the milkshake and my husbands cocktail, those were good. The atmosphere is good and if we had had a different server things might have gone better. Don’t argue with your clients when you are misrepresenting your food.

It was a very slow time in the restaurant, all the employees hanging out around the bar and seemed to be having a good time. Wait staff was pretty nice.
