Veg Spring Roll – crispy and delicious, a perfect starter.
Cilantro Lemon Soup – light, refreshing, and full of zest.
Chicken Lollipop Biryani – absolutely the star of the meal! The portion was generous—easily enough for two—and the blend of spices was spot-on, creating a rich and aromatic taste.
If you’re looking for authentic flavors and great portions, I definitely recommend Monk Indian Bistro. You won’t be disappointed!

Visiting Texas after a long time and having such good food here made my trip totally worth it. Green Chilli Chicken fried rice and Dynamite Shrimp combination was amazing. We loved the cilantro lime soup and boneless biriyani too! Navneet was super friendly and very helpful. Good experience, will come back here again!

Hands-down, my favorite Indians place to date. The first time we went, we got the lamb curry, plane chicken lollipop, and the Samosa. The second time we got chicken vindaloo which I thought was better than the lamb, the butter chicken, which taste better than the butter chicken serve, served at the Michelin star restaurant, lamb chops, which were good, but I think I still like the lamb chops at Aga’s, gobi Manchurian entrée which was a little heavy on the curry but still was packed with flavor and very delicious, and the chicken dynamite biryani, which is my favorite biryani I have ever tasted so far. We also got the masala chicken lollipops this time and it was coded with sauce and was super delicious. The extra two dollars for that is definitely worth it. Can’t wait to try other things on their menu.

Navnith was our server this evening and he was great! Super nice and patient. It was our first time here. Food was delicious and came out in a timely manner. Started with veggie samosas. It came with 2 and a sauce. We then ordered butter naan, butter masala, and street style noodles with chicken. We were asked our spice level, and the food came out perfectly. We will definitely be back! And we’ll be bringing our family to try as well!

Food was great. Atmosphere is just right. Navith was very attentive and recommended the Dynamite appetizer which was our favorite. The garlic bread is delicious especially to dip. I also got a mango lassi which tastes like a mango puree. It’s like you are drinking a mango.

My husband and I went to Monk’s for a casual anniversary lunch and really enjoyed it. We love Indian food and got the butter chicken and the chicken 65 and samosas. It was very good! Everything was well made. Our waiter Navanit was attentive but not too much so, he said we will definitely have to try some more entrees next time. Overall we are pleased to have this be a great place to get Indian food! We will be back for more

This place is an insane hidden gem. I love Indian food and eat it everywhere I go. The Monks floored me. The goat meat fell apart in my mouth, so tender. I cook with a lot of fresh ground spices and places usually disappoint me on that front but everything here was so aromatic and had the flavor to match!
It caused me to eat extra slow just because I needed to savor the flavor.
Navnith was super friendly and accommodating, pleasant to interact with in every way. If I’m ever in Houston again I’ll be sitting right here. 10/10
