We were looking for the best steak house in Tampa while we’re here on vacation. The first place that came up on our search was the Frontier Steakhouse… and our search was spot on!!
The food & service were excellent!! Both steaks came out as ordered & advertised. But the best part of our visit was the attention to detail & superior service we received from Michelle. Michelle made us feel like we were at home & made sure everything was perfect.
Thanks again Frontier Steakhouse & we’ll see you at our next visit to Tampa.

Showing it’s age for sure. The walkway and pond overgrown from its yester-year glory. And the interior, a comfortable standard of past decades. None of the apps are made in-house, so standard frozen apps there. The salad was very basic. The shrink scampi addition nothing memorable. The baked potato was standard and on par with expectations, although fresh shaved cheese would be a nice upgrade. The ribeye of lower quality cut but was very nicely seasoned and had a great char and grilled flavor, so overall even with the lower quality cut the steak was good. Overall though for price vs quality vs overall experience, I prefer a couple of the competitive chains.

My family and I went to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and the food was absolutely delicious. Our server Susan was a familiar face and delivered the best service, as always. She even captured this beautiful photo for us to timber the night! We will definitely be back!

Our first time here! It server suggested the Big Bang Shrimp – not too heavy heading and sauce was yummy! Hubby ordered the Bone-In Ribeye and I ordered the sirloin and scampi. Steak was cooked well with just a hint of smoky flavor. Sweet tea was delicious. Tiffany our server was personable and gave great suggestions. We will be back!

It was our first time here and it was amazing! I had the ribeye, recommended by Margie (she’s a wonderful server). My partner had the coygirl steak which was tasty. Mine was excellent! Thank you. We love this place!

I don’t eat steak but my husband, son an his girlfriend said their steaks were amazing. I had shrimp scampi and it was really good. We also had the sample platter as an appetizer and it did not disappoint.

Host/server were nice, but for a steakhouse, no portion sizes to choose from. All the steaks were 1 default size. 8oz Sirloin for 26$ seemed pricey and was a lil dry. Got loaded baked potato and the stuffing came in separate containers cold. Probably won’t be going back as can get 16oz steak closer to home.

The service was amazing, Michelle our server was the best. Had the ribeye steak which was amazing. Had the grilled pork chops but they were so salty we couldn’t eat them. The owner personally came to our table and offered us a new order to go, without the seasoning. We would definitely cone back when we are up in the Tampa area again.

We think this is hands down the best steakhouse in Tampa. Wife always gets the Filet and I’ve had most of the other steaks. Steaks are cooked over citrus wood for the smoke and it tastes fabulous. We come here for every birthday we can because they offer a birthday steak dinner deal.
