After 54 years and probably 9 months in India, i usually avoid most indian restaurant that all offer the same blend of sweet to spicy lumps of meat in gravy.
Buy my wife booked here for my birthday and we both had the taster menu.
Not a cheap option at £55 each, but i can say we absolutely loved it, a super starter, followed by a chicken dish, a salmon dish, and a pallet cleanser.
Then main of lamb with 3 sides, rice and naan, before a super brownie for dessert.
Tasted great, superbly presented, attentive, informative service.
Well done guys, i shall visit again.

The food was delicious, the ambience was beautiful, and the service was excellent. A special thank you to Shahid Ahmed for taking such great care of us—he was friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. Amazing restaurant – the staff were all accommodating, kind and welcoming while we celebrated my father’s birthday. The food was beyond words, with each meal being flavourful and filling. My mum’s favourites being the desserts in particular.
The restaurant is clean, beautiful, and had lovely music playing throughout!
They had a great Christmas menu and made the whole experience very festive!

Great food and service, I would definitely go back. The lack of atmosphere i feel was due to the amount of customers there when I went. There was only 3 other tables in use. It was a rainy cold evening though.
I had the highway chicken curry which was nice but I just wish it had slightly more sauce as when eating with the saffron & pea rice I ordered, there wasn’t enough sauce for the rice so the last 5-6 forkfulls of rice were sauceless. Staff were attentive and didn’t pester. The beer I ordered was more expensive on my bill compared to the menu but when I mentioned this when paying it was adjusted straight away and an apology was followed

Visited for our wedding anniversary, absolutely fantastic food and service. We had the tasting menu, every course was delicious and we ended up taking a full takeaways worth home as well so definitely worth the price! The staff were brilliant, they even went as far as to tailor the tasting for my pregnant wife and topped the night off with complimentary mocktails.
My only issue is that we’re not local enough to make it a regular visit. If you’re local or visiting Bath, definitely get in here.

Exceptional service and phenomenal dishes! My partner and I have always enjoyed Indian food, so for our anniversary I booked a table The Mint Room. Being our first time in Bath, and England in general, we were hoping to share some elevated Indian food together. We were not disappointed! Not only was the tasting menu some of the best Indian cuisine we’d ever had, but the service was incredibly kind and welcoming also. Our waiters enthusiastically explained each of the dishes, helping to better immerse us in the experience and provide us with a greater appreciation for the meal. Afterward, we were even given 2 complimentary espresso martinis to commemorate the occasion. Would absolutely recommend!

We celebrated my wife’s birthday here and had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, especially the Tadka Daal, Chicken Biryani, and Chicken Jalfrezi. The ambiance was beautiful, and the service was outstanding.

Had an unplanned dinner at this establishment with my family. Going through other reviews it seems we went there on a bit of an off night. The food taste was but the portion sizes could have a bit better considering the price. The waiter brought us a basket of poppadoms but conveniently forgot to mention that it would be charged. For a £90 bill I would have expected to be more filling ( This includes a £10 service charge) 3.5 stars

It’s been 7 years since we were last here. Had the tasting menu (new) and it was superb. The service was excellent, the maitre d explained the dishes and had a real enthusiasm for them. My taste buds thought I’d died and gone to heaven. Highly recommended.
