Fine dining atmosphere with budget pricing. I hesitated going here for a long time because so many locals complained about the price but I found that the pricing was similar, if not cheaper, to standard fast food.
The staff and owners (both the previous and new owners) are a delight to converse with as well as gracious hosts.
The food is amazing and done well. I’m a huge fan of small menus that are done well and The Mill nails it flawlessly.
The interior design and atmosphere are on point.
Stop in, you won’t be disappointed!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the establishment! The service was very speedy and the food and coffee was very tasty as a pivot in morning in the area. The current owners will be changing hand after this weekend, but it is great to see that they have done such a great job prior to this. I wish them nothing but success in the future!
The cranberry orange muffin in particular was very delicious and it was quite tasty when warmed up. The specialty coffee drinks were also hit for us this morning.

This place is getting better and better. A nice dinner spot with a menu that changes so there’s always something new to try. The staff is friendly and fun and really care about their reputation in the community. Good cocktails, reasonable prices and fun atmosphere. Their breakfast (omelettes made to order on Sunday!) is also worth stopping in for. Keep up the good work!

So we went in on a whim today and the coffee was amazing and the food was great but what stole our heart was the husband and wife chef team noticed my little guy eating his bacon like corn on the cob and after a few minutes of talking with him and finding out that he has a huge interest in cooking and restaurants they spent at least half an hour chatting with us about there amazing journey that brought them here to Dover. There kindness and friendly hospitality was enough to make us eager to return and there knowledge of all things food and food industry was really neat as Isaac and I have been watching a lot of shows about this very topic.

The place was absolutely immaculate. Looked something straight out of a Hallmark movie during the Christmas season. The decor and atmosphere were warm and magical. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the coffee was honestly amazing.
However, the food didn’t quite live up to the price. The portions were smaller than expected, and the flavors were lacking for the price. With a little improvement on the food side, this place could easily be perfect.

Just had one of the best breakfasts of my life here at the Mill Cafe. The atmosphere was a light buzz of laughter and a beautiful view of the river.
I actually ordered 2 dishes, the avocado toast with eggs over medium, and the breakfast burrito. Both were delicious, eggs were cooked to perfection! My wife had the broccoli cheddar quiche, it was the thickest piece we have ever seen, and she said it was extremely tasty, and loved the flaky crust.
Service was friendly and prompt, and we were greeted at our table by the chef, who extremely friendly and had a good conversation that was welcoming.
Glad to have such a quality experience local to us.

I just stopped in here for the first time today and had a wonderful experience all around. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, the food was incredible, and the atmosphere was just perfect. Outdoor dining has become really important to me over the past few years and their setup is beautiful and comfortable. The interior space is so cozy and relaxing. I haven’t tried dinner yet but we’re planning to come by next weekend and are really looking forward to it given the quality of the lunch we had! The delicious fresh fruit served on the side was a genuinely lovely surprise to an already great meal. This is exactly the sort of spot I was hoping would pop up within a thirty minute drive from my home and I’m so happy we found it. Thank you for the experience!

The food and experience was the same quality as a big city 5 star restaurant with the charm of small town friendliness. The owner is a creative genius who is down to earth and puts her heart and soul into everything she does. Definitely recommend! Will definitely come back often and happy to make the drive to come here!
