Tried this place since the ones around Dover are not the best. Food was great. Our server was very attentive. Checked on us multiple times. Offered coffee any time the cup got low. Highly recommend.

We just stopped by to grab lunch, and WOW. They have a lot of selections. The staff is so nice, and it feels like a family friendly diner. It had a very welcoming feel. Warm and cozy. It’s very clean here. I absolutely loved our experience!

My husband and I ate here 2 weeks ago. It’s a very popular place and it was busy.
We both started with the salad. Which was fine. He had the broiled seafood platter, which was a piece of fish, scallops , and shrimp. He also had Cole slaw. He liked it pretty well.
I had the steak and fried shrimp. I also had mashed potatoes with gravy. I ordered it rare, but it definitely not rare. The one end of the steak was thinner than the other ,and it was well done. other end was thicker and at best medium . The steak was seasoned well but not what I ordered.
The manchester diner is a very popular place and well liked. For me , was busy ok.

Chicken/turkey gravy should not be green!!!!! I ask the waitress about the off-putting color and she said oh that’s the color of ours. It was horrible. It was thick and almost chunky like sausage gravy would be.i won’t be eating there again.

For the longest time Manchester cafe had pretty much the same staff, then it changed hands and that’s where the problem lies…..when Audra Etta and Marley are no longer here that will be the end of my coming here. Walked in this morning, it was busy but was told Audra was already leaving, so I got sat, have no idea who my server was to be because I was never acknowledged, nobody ever came to my table and people got seated after me and servers were taking their drink requests. First time I ever got up and left without ordering. I have been a regular here since the middle 90’s. It seems that there are new employees almost weekly, that means that they are not treating staff properly and turnover is high, that to me is a major issue.
